Do you also offer video services?

I do not personally offer videography. I can curate a list of suitable videographer options to fit your needs and style and would be happy to create a package with your videographer of choice. I do, however, offer content creation packages.

Question 2

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 9-13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability—even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. I'm always happy to accommodate.

Question 3

Will you edit all our pictures?

Accepted Answer

Technically, no. All images will be selected by hand and edited within my style to ensure they are cohesive, genuine, and aesthetically pleasing. I will minimally retouch photos where I artistically see fit while keeping authenticity to the moment captured (ie: bruises, pimples, hair placement, stains, slight teeth whitening, etc). I do not retouch anything permanent on the human body (ie: beauty marks, freckles, scars, re-shaping the body, wrinkles, etc) as it may be disrespectful to some. I do not deliver RAW photos.

How long will it take to see our pictures?

Accepted Answer

You will receive your sneak peek photos within 48 hours of the conclusion of the wedding. My turnaround time for the full gallery varies by season. Typically, you’ll receive your full online gallery about 8-12 weeks after your wedding.

How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing.

What is a day-after session and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

A day-after session is something I offer to slightly alleviate the timeline during the day of the wedding, especially if my couple is not doing a first look. Don't worry—we will still capture a few individual and couples' portraits the day of, but this day-after session gives us dedicated time to capture those portraits and allows us to focus more on capturing moments with everyone else while we have them all together. The day after, I will meet you at the location of your choosing for a post-wedding couples session. You can mimick your wedding day with the dress, hair, and makeup, or you can change it up altogether—it's your choice!

What is an initmate portrait session?

Accepted Answer

Boudoir, it's boudoir. This is offered to both (separately) bride and groom, or bride and bride, groom and groom—you get the picture. If you've never done boudoir before, that's ok! I will guide you through the whole process, start to finish. This session could make for a romantic wedding gift (imagine those first-look photos with that album in hand) or an intimate one-year anniversary gift. When booking, just let me know you'd like this and we can get together separately to discuss details ;)

Question 8

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Depending on the size of the wedding, the timeline, and coverage expectations, I may or may not recommend a second-shooter or assistant. Don't worry, this option will be included in your custom package and will come from a list of talented vendors.

Question 9

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In my years of experience as not only a wedding photographer but a photographer in general, I’ve never canceled a session. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I will contact you immediately to create a course of action. Based on your preference and timeframe of cancellation, I will either have one of my lead photographers/seconds take my place, or I will provide you a full refund (minus the non-refundable deposit) and send you a list of comparable, capable photographers to choose from so we can find you the perfect replacement.
