I'm Meagan. My husband and I were teachers, but at some point we picked up a camera, and everything changed. We have a rescue dog named Sadie that's basically our child. Our perfect day includes iced vanilla lattes at a local coffee shop, hitting up a couple of thrift stores, and reading on the couch with a christmas candle lit and burritos in hand.

We won't make you just smile at us for an hour. We play games with our clients, make them whisper silly things in each other's ears, skip hand in hand, and honestly whatever it takes to help you have fun and get your mind off of having your photos taken. We believe in the importance of capturing genuine emotion and connection. We are also both super calm personalities. We think this is one of our biggest strengths that we bring to the table on wedding days when things can be stressful, and it's something our couples often comment on. We've shot over 200 weddings, so have lots of experience and are fully licensed and insured.

    Five stars doesn’t even begin to cover how amazing working with Meagan and Joe was. They are not only incredibly talented, but they are punctual, communicative, accommodating, and so unbelievably kind. We had a few phone calls and in-person meetings leading up to the big day so that they could be sure to capture exactly what we were looking for. They managed to preserve a moment in time for us to reflect on for decades to come, and we are so grateful! Our photos are truly a work of art!

    There aren’t enough stars for the rating I want to give Meagan Gaines Photography. Meagan & Joe were the perfect combination of professional and personable. They made us feel so at ease throughout the entire wedding planning season. Their work spanned so much further than the actual moments they shot. They were so thorough in collecting our wedding wishes and stayed incredibly flexible as our vision evolved. We chose them because we saw how beautifully they captured candid moments, and our wedding was no exception. When we needed it, they gave great posing prompts to help us loosen up and have fun! It felt like such a gift to have them be a part of our celebration and capture these forever memories for us.

    I’m not sure I can put into words how amazing Meagan and her husband Joe have been to us but I’m going to try. To start, they are the sweetest most genuine people you will EVER meet. We felt like instant friends the moment we spoke with them. She put us both at ease during our engagement shoot and we got some incredible photos out on Vilano Beach during a giant full moon. Communication was effortless, and she put my mind at ease through every step of this process. When we met for coffee just before the wedding day to discuss our shot list and details, I think the four of us were talking and laughing together for an hour before we even got to actually planning! As for her work, Meagan is extremely talented and her photography style fit our vibe perfectly. She does a flawless job capturing every moment, and we got the most amazing photos - she sent our sneak peak over so soon after our wedding day and we felt like we were re-living it, there were definitely tears. She was a breath of fresh air to work with the entire day; we laughed together and had a blast. I cannot express how grateful we are for Meagan and Joe - if we had to do our wedding day all over, we would pick them every single time! They are the best of the best. Look no further if you’re in need of a photographer for your big day, or any special occasion for that matter!

    Meagan’s photo style and personality is everything. Her husband, Joe, shot all the photos of the guys in the grooms house while Meagan hung out with the girls. They both captured every moment beautifully and were always in the right places at the right times! Her packages are a steal and she got the photos out so quickly. I did a boudoir shoot with her instead of an engagement shoot and she was so fun and easy to work with! I had no idea what I was doing and she made it effortless. I was even running late from the airport and she helped me steam my outfits. So kind. Overall absolute best experience. Couldn’t hype her and her husband up enough. Side note: if you don’t want the cliche super bright and overly edited wedding photos and want a more natural look, please PLEASE go with Meagan.
