Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. He honed his craft and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the famous Juilliard School of Music in New York and received a Master’s Degree from the prestigious Yale University. He specializes in live violin music for all types of special events including corporate, concerts, festivals, weddings and worship.

Soo Kim, aka Soo Sings, is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in San Diego, California, serving the San Diego Counties, Orange Counties, and Los Angeles Counties. Bassist and bandleader Josh Levine got his start in the professional music business busking in SoHo with The Flying Neutrinos in ’93, so when NYC shut down in Spring of 2020, he capitalized on his experience as a street performer and began to play regularly in the parks of NYC with percussionist and sonero, Jainardo Batista, renowned flutist Itai Kriss making his debut on Cuban trés guitar, and María Raquel on vocals and minor percussion. Before long, the quartet had generated some buzz, several venues hired them to play outdoors and pianist Gabriel Chakarji and Grammy winning flutist and vocalist Jeremy Bosch became staples of the group.

Before taking the stage to rock out in front of thousands or throwing parties of his own, the love & passion for music started at an early age. The connection to the power of music has always been intriguing. Starting out as a hobby & something fun to do, turned into much more! After my tenure at Bucknell University, I landed in my new city of Washington D.C. and have taken crowds on a musical journey at the most popular clubs, bars, & events around DC, Philly, Dallas, Atlanta, & New York to name a few.
