The building is a historical landmark for the City of New Albany, and was saved from destruction by the Bliss Family in 2000. The Bliss family’s vision in reviving this 1900’s building was to keep its historical integrity, while providing a practical, unique, and seamless flowing space for Weddings and Events. It truly is a “one stop shop” where clients can book their Wedding Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony, and Reception. Founded in 1905 by Ben Schrader and a group of local tavern owners and grocers, the original Falls City was formed to fight a big beer takeover in Louisville. In 1906, Otto Doerr was hired as our first brew master and our beer soon began appearing in local taverns. The Golf Club at Eagle Pointe is a community-owned, 18-hole golf course nestled in the hills of beautiful southern Indiana, just minutes from the shores of Lake Monroe. Originally built by Henry Woolery in 1930, Woolery Mill has been transformed into an industrial chic venue with modern amenities. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 2002, the mill is a former A.J. Woolery & Sons quarry with a variety of buildings, structures, and objects originally used for limestone production. The mill shut down production in 1996 and the property has been vacant since.
