Stumptown Djs

  • DJ

I love my job. For me, it’s kind of two-fold. One amazing part of the job is knowing that you are part of a couple’s most memorable day of their life—and assuming it goes well, they will remember you for it for the rest of their life. The other part is that I get to run a business and listen to music—two of my deepest passions. So running a DJ company mashes it all together in one great package.

Awarded Best of Zola
Suzanne at Stumptown DJs was an absolute dream to have DJ our wedding. The entire event went so smoothly because of her professionalism, flexibility, and overall attitude. From the ceremony to the grand exit, our songs were played exactly how I envisioned them. Plus, I will never forget that there was a moment during the evening that I wanted to cut short unexpectedly; I glanced at Suzanne, discretely asked for the song to end, and she immediately, and unnoticeably, faded the song out - I was so thankful to her. If we ever need DJ services in the future, we will 100% go with Suzanne again. -B&B

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Palouse, WA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Flower Moxie provided great options for access to specialty flowers to utilize at my wedding. With great communication following floral delivery, and provided further instructions to ensure preservation of the roses at delivery. I was stunned with how well the roses lasted from being delivered 2 days prior to the wedding and lasting for 2-4 days following the wedding. Blue Delphinium was the least impressive, and I was not pleased. Sad. Wilting and unable to hydrate. I was not impressed. I ordered: Orange Free Spirit Garden Roses (50 Stems, 3.60/stem) and Light Blue Delphinium (50 Stems, 3.00/stem) and spent 354.

I hired Vic to photograph my bridal shower based on some recommendations on FaceBook! I took one look at her portfolio and knew that she was talented. She made the booking process super easy and was reachable via Email and Text. She formalized the agreement via contract which was very professional and helped me guarantee that she would be committed to my event. On the day of the event, she went above and beyond. She helped calm me as we were running a bit late but she kept things moving the whole event. She captured photos of me, my guests, and got detailed shots of all our decorations. Our guests loved that she offered pointers on how to pose and stand. Not to mention she took several photos of every shot - I’ve worked with photographers in the past who will only take 1 shot, but not Vic! After the event, she gave me all the unedited photos within 48 hours which was a HUGE win! She captured around 700 photos of my 2 hour event - I was stunned in the best way. Overall, working with her was a dream and I cannot wait to hire her for my next event.

I cannot recommend PressRecord enough! From start to finish, the entire process was incredibly easy and completely stress-free. The camcorders were simple for our guests to use, and everything was clearly explained, making the whole experience foolproof. What truly impressed me was their customer service. They were unbelievably kind and responded to every email so quickly. They even re-edited our wedding film **twice** to make sure it was exactly what we envisioned, and they happily searched through all of the footage to include very specific moments that were important to us. The most meaningful thing they did was incorporate a photo I sent them of our memorial table honoring my mom and my husband's grandparents who had passed away. Including that tribute in our wedding video meant more to us than I can express, and I'm so grateful they took the time to make it happen. Our final 5-minute home video feels so personal and captures the heart of our wedding day perfectly. If you're considering PressRecord, do it—you'll not only end up with an amazing keepsake, but you'll also be working with a team that genuinely cares about preserving what matters most.

Unmatched, epic, insanely talented artist and masterpiece! We truly cannot say enough incredible things about Julia Goldberg. From the very first email, zoom meetings, to the moment she arrived at our hotel the morning of our wedding to the very last minute eight hours later, she was the definition of professionalism, talent, and calm energy. Julia gave my husband and I our dream wedding day in every sense of the word. Her attention to detail, direction, and posing skills made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera, and she somehow managed to keep everything running smoothly while still making it so fun and natural. She was an absolute ROCKSTAR the entire day, anticipating moments before they happened and capturing them so beautifully and effortlessly. When working with her, you feel as if you’ve known her your whole life. Beyond her impressive talent, Julia is just an amazing person to be around. She is personable, friendly, kind, funny, and so outgoing—it honestly felt like we had a close friend by our side all day. That kind of presence made such a difference and allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day. And the sneak peek photos… omg we were BEYOND blown away and I cried tears of joy and am still at a loss for words looking at them everyday! Receiving them in less than 48 hours was already impressive, but the photos themselves were beyond anything we could have imagined—stunning, romantic, emotional, and perfectly capturing the magic of our day. She is worth every penny and more! From the day I found her Instagram and website, I knew there was no other photographer I could use for our wedding. Whether you’re getting married at the iconic San Francisco City Hall, on a Safari in Africa, or under the northern lights, she has the itinerary mapped out to a T and gives you the resources to make your day absolutely seamless while always keeping you in the loop and making you feel important and valued. It was truly a dream come true to have Julia as our wedding photographer. We could not have had a more treasured and memorable day without her, and we will be forever grateful. 10000000/10 experience and I want to get married over and over just to have her shoot us again! Thank you again, Julia-you made my wedding dreams come true️

I’m Luke, a Seattle wedding photographer with a simple mantra: Guest First. Photographer Second. On your wedding day, I’m part of the celebration, prioritizing your experience and capturing the moments that truly matter. We’ll make time for great portraits, but my main goal is to document your day as it unfolds—no endless posing or pulling you away from the fun. From the laughs and tears to the joy, heart, and love, I’ll capture it all to make your day unforgettable.

Luke was such an amazing addition to our wedding! He was our first choice for wedding photography and was originally booked up on our date. With Covid changes, we were able to get Bear Beau for our rescheduled, smaller wedding, and we couldn't be happier! Luke brought such a joyful, calm, and helpful presence to our wedding. All of our guests noticed how kind and happy Luke was as he ran around taking pictures, and still talk about how great he was a couple months later. I really couldn’t imagine our day without the help of Luke. He brought such a calmness that made me and my fiancé relax and just enjoy our day. I was able to rely on him to know our schedule, help with the flow, he remembered details like my veil and bouquet- all sorts of things that helped our day run smoothly. Luke even arrived an hour and a half early than planned to get more getting ready photos and detail pictures, which I appreciated so much! Luke also worked amazingly with our videographers. Guests thought they were from the same company because their work together at the wedding seemed so seamless! Luke was really kind and respectful to make sure the videographers were able to have their time and space to capture the day as well. Luke is so skilled and quick that we got amazing photos all day long but never felt like we were busy taking photos- the whole day felt natural and easy. And of course Luke is so extremely talented! We love our pictures so much as they captured the genuine happiness and feel for the day. All the pictures are beautiful!! My husband and I couldn't be happier with the photos we got back and feel so grateful for Luke's above and beyond talent and service for our wedding day. We would recommend Bear Beau to everyone! Out of all the vendors we hired, he was one of the most valuable and made the biggest difference for our day.

Evelyn is nothing short of amazing! We had the best experience planning our wedding with her and the team at Love & Laughter Weddings. We found them through Instagram and once we had that first call we knew we wanted to work with her. Evelyn is always quick to answering any questions we may have and she was so supportive through the entire journey. The peace of mind and abundance of knowledge she brings is worth every penny. Our families loved her too which is always a bonus. She is the kindest soul and the best decision we could have ever made for our wedding day. You need Evelyn and Love & Laughter on your side. They are the absolute best!!

Heather and her team are literally amazing. She helped me in so many ways. She’s not just your photographer, she’s everything you could need before and during your wedding. Heather is a lifetime friend for me now and I couldn’t be more honored to have her capture our day. She goes above and beyond to help you, whether it’s her guides that she has made herself or even just a little text asking if you need anything. Even on the day of, she’s right there if you need her. She is SO fun and I just can’t say enough things about her
