The virtual meeting with DJ Jeff went smoothly, and the shared Google Doc that Second Song provided to track the event details was intuitive and easy to use. Rob and his team helped us make custom cuts of our ceremony music at no additional cost. We also booked our uplights through their team, and they were beautiful. Not only could you select the color, but the lights could also be programmed to cycle through colors for more of a party vibe. I could not recommend DJ Jeff Collins more highly. He was professional and on time, and most importantly, had incredible energy. He hit all of our requests for the evening, both for the dinner portion of the night and the dance party afterwards. He worked seamlessly with our planner and made all of the right announcements at the right time, and a large part of the evening's success was due to his energy and enthusiasm. We also had a ceremony guitarist and a saxophonist with tracks for the cocktail hour, which added great touches to the day. The uplights they brought for the room were priced very well and created a beautiful atmosphere. The music planning worksheet they provided was incredibly helpful, and they offered valuable advice on the timeline and flow of the reception, which was a huge help. They were fun to work with, and on the night of the wedding, they absolutely crushed it. The music was fantastic, they kept the vibes high, and their crowd engagement was excellent. Before our wedding day, Marlon was super attentive, responsive, and overall fun to work with. He really went out of his way to ensure our entire day went exactly as we envisioned. We had a brief phone meeting a week before the wedding about how we wanted the vibe to be and he pulled it off perfectly. Us and our guests were blown away by his performance. After the wedding, all of our guests were raving how awesome he was! He blended all of our requested genres. The transitions between genres and between songs were spot on! He had all of our guests up and dancing. Our wedding coordinator said he was very easy to work and communicate with. He was very organized and had all the equipment we needed. He also took care of the emcee duties and did an awesome job! He had an app we could use to upload all of our song requests. We found it very useful for organizing the songs we wanted played at each part of the night. He totally killed it and we could not imagine anyone doing better. 10/10. “Steve is an excellent DJ and MC! Right from the first call he was great with explaining the process and his services and he truly goes above and beyond. The communication and service as great throughout the process. He sent us a sample timeline for the wedding day which included all of the "special songs" required, and about how many songs we needed for each part of the day. We loved that we were able to provide specific songs for each part that really fit us and who we are. On our wedding day he showed up early and set up everything so that it blended seamlessly with the venue. Everything was played as requested and on time, and he went above and beyond introducing himself to the guests and letting them know other details - such as where to sign the guest book and the shuttle departure times. Our guests told us they loved the music and he helped make our day great and run smoothly!”
