Built for the Richard S. Willis family in 1854. Hodge Podge Lodge was originally called "Melrose" in memory of an estate owned by his ancestors in Scotland. The home started as a four room, story and a half house with a detached kitchen. Throughout the house, one can trace the outline of the original footprint by noticing the wide plank flooring in the parlor, formal dining room and library. During the civil war era the massive lawn, with huge oak and pecan trees, quickly became a favorite place for many young people in town for picnics and family gatherings. It is on these same grounds that we invite you and your loved ones to celebrate life’s memorable occasions.

We are a very warm and cozy venue located in the heart of Historic Downtown Montgomery! Indoors we can hold up to 80 people. For larger parties we set up a tent outside that holds 40 plus the 80 inside to accomodate up to 120 ppl.

Your Something Olde, Your Something New! Olde Dobbin Station provides a unique experience for couples with restored early-1900s structures that blend an authentic historic feel with a vintage touch. Originally, oil companies used the buildings as a pumping station. Later, the property became a famous place of fellowship for the community due to its artesian water well. It even served as the local swimming hole for residents and remains an important historical marker today. Olde Dobbin also features a beautifully renovated chapel.

The Atrium Center is an event venue located in New Caney, Texas, just 25 minutes northeast of downtown Houston. Moondance Weddings and Events is a relaxed and casual space. We are on a 60 acre ranch that has a house, very spacious garage, and lots of outdoor space. The garage, where most couples book, is fully done with air conditioning for those hot Texas days. It is attached to where most ceremonies are held. The concrete walkway and area overlooks the property to make sure your wedding photos are beautiful, nature-filled shots. We can host up to 200 guests, so we are best for small weddings. We are also a raw venue, meaning we only offer the space and nothing else.
