Rode's was established in 1880 as a egg & poultry wholesale business serving all of the tri-state region. In the 1950's the Rode family started a BBQ catering business, followed by a local restaurants in 1991. The catering business has now evolved in to a full scale off-premise catering business offering a wide range of delicious home-style and comfort foods. Rode's offer's everything from brunch to BBQ and beyond. The business also offers casual events hosted in our barn built in the 1950s.

Chef Floyd and Chef Angie began their catering business, “Plum Caterers”, in May 2007 with a dream and a kitchen that offered traditional and authentic cuisine, with an innovative culinary flare.
