  • Photographer

  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Nortonville, KS

A little about me.. I am guilty of constantly working because I LOVE MY JOB!! I throw my ALL into my work and work super hard to create images that I myself would want to hang on my walls! I have a soft spot for bold and contrasty images. You could describe my style as rustic, boho, wild, fun, country and controlled chaos (with the littles - let’s face it, we want to capture kids AS KIDS and it is OK! Honestly, THE BEST!) - and my absolute FAVORITE place to be is out in the Kansas fields - especially at sunset!

Molly, is a person that is easy to work with. Always accommodating and willing to do whatever it takes for the sake of the bride's wishes.

Once Like a Spark Wedding Co. was a fantastic choice for our wedding photography and DJ. I had first reached out to Darcy before I had even booked a venue - I just loved the editing style of the photos. Our lead Denida and and second shooter Will were friendly, communicative, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding day. They kept us on schedule, if not ahead of it, and Denida even showed us some incredible photos as she was taking them. Will captured great shots of the groom and groomsmen, and also provided excellent second angles. I am so thankful we got to work with them. We also bundled our photography with the DJ, who was also wonderful - DJ Floyd kept the energy up all night, mixed the music perfectly, and checked in to make sure everything was going well. With OLAS, we were able to capture so many great memories and beautiful photos that we'll cherish forever.

Flower and oak were absolutely amazing. They showed up extremely early for our event and we had the highest premium package ordered for the day. We had a couple specific shoot ideas for THE GROOMSMEN and the minute I walked in the front door. I was greeted by both videographers With all kinds of cool camera gear and they told us exactly what to do and there was no time wasted. I highly recommend flower and oak to anyone looking at getting married soon. The one thing I don’t regret about our wedding day is using them because they were so great. It doesn’t matter what the price is you will have those memories forever.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (78 reviews)
  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Nortonville, KS

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I ordered the "peaches and cream" small package. We decided to skip on ceremony florals, and only have handhelds and bud vases at the reception. We did buy a few more flowers from the grocery to add more peach once the flowers arrived. We made and medium sized bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 corsages, and 7 bouts. (With lots of flowers left over). My bridesmaids and I did the arranging the morning before the wedding; it was fun, and a great start to the weekend. None of us had experience, but it all turned out great! If you or your bridal party are mildly crafty, I'd highly recommend it!

I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Pittsburgh, PA! However, the stories I capture don't start and end there. I love to travel to capture stories all around the world.

We had our wedding in California and Edgar flew out and helped make our day so memorable! We didn't know him before and didn't end up doing an engagement shoot (so I was a little nervous) but he absolutely nailed it. His photos are stunning (I've gotten a TON of compliments on them), he is extremely communicative, and he had a bunch of photos ready to go by the end of the wedding. Both me and my husband aren't great at posing for photos and he knew exactly how to place us without it feeling faked. Super easy to work with and just a really nice guy. I'd highly recommend him to anyone!

Louis Pettinelli Entertainment was an absolute dream to work with. I thought that a live band for our wedding would be out of our reach, but LPE was so easy to work with and what an incredible value! Our band, LPE Snapshot was incredible and our ceremony musicians were amazing too! The vocalists were high energy and kept the whole event moving. They were great Emcess and they even added some special non-traditional reception activities for us. They were super flexible and played all the songs we asked for- even some very “niche” tracks we asked for during the ceremony. So many of my guests said the band was their favorite part of the reception. I highly recommend LPE entertainment! (I am also a musician myself so I’m very picky!)

Being a bridesmaid is stressful sometimes, but they made it so easy and fun. I was amazed that they captured even the moments when we were just laughing in the dressing room or fixing hair. The video shows all of us like a movie cast, and I love how natural it feels. You don’t realize how fast the day goes until you see the photos after, then it all comes flooding back. My best friend looked like a princess and they showed that perfectly. The way they filmed the speeches made me cry AGAIN even though I was right there that night. The music they put with the video was perfect too, not cheesy like some wedding videos I’ve seen. They even made me look photogenic and I usually hate photos of myself lol. When I sent the album link to my mom she said it felt like she was there with us. Honestly I would hire them in a second if I ever get married. 100% recomend.

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

We loved Isaac and his wife, Jing, who photographed our wedding earlier this month. Isaac was super calm and collected and on top of everything. His photography style was perfect for us. He already delivered about half of our retouched photos a week after the wedding which was insane and I love every single one. He was flexible with the 5 flower girls we had in and out of pictures and the multiple areas on our venue property. Overall an amazing experience and I recommend his work to anyone and everyone looking. He was very considerate when I first reached out about his work and wanted to use him and was very mindful of his travel fees to fit in our budget.
