Words almost fail to express how freaking fabulous our time with The Barker House was! We are just over 3 months married (3/27/2025) and family and friends still remark to us on just how fun and gorgeous our wedding was. A ton of that credit goes to the amazing staff at the Barker House. Right from the start of our first tour, we were treated with such kindness and respect from the Barker House team. We were immediately sold on the staff (who took such time and care chatting with us) before we even fell in love with the venue. Davis-Lynn and Lilly were our rockstars! We were lucky enough to have them with us on our wedding day. The first portion of the day I was incredibly nervous, but once I was greeted by Davis-Lynn at the front door all my worries dissipated. I knew I was in the best of hands and suddenly felt ready to have fun. Even during the dinner service, Lilly was so kind as to sew my ripped bustle behind the scenes. She was so dedicated to making sure we had the best experience. The venue is simply stunning. As two people who appreciate history and go antiquing regularly, The Barker House spoke to our personalities. The speak-easy feel of the sunken bar, fireplaces, and exposed beams are very unique. The venue is in a gorgeous area and we were glad to be by the ocean. The chef is phenomenal as the food service was top notch. Family still exclaim to us how delicious the food was (omg the short ribs perfection!). I also suggest that couples utilize The Barker House's recommended vendors. Not only was payment and interaction with them a breeze, but they were each fabulous in responsiveness and quality. Awesome Blossom, Toast To That Entertainment, and Kristen Griffin Photography were incredibly professional and they each blew us away. I could go on and on... The bottom line, if you looking for a worry free all inclusive beautiful venue and want to work with the best people, look no further than The Barker House! P.S. Brides, make sure you get a picture with your planners! My only regret is that I didn't get a picture with Lilly and Davis-Lynn!

The moment we stepped into the door at Lakeview Pavilion, we knew it was the perfect place for us. Lakeview Pavilion is BREATHTAKING! It was truly love at first sight! 3 LVP was the first and ONLY venue we toured. It was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process! There is not one flaw in our experience with LVP! The moment we stepped in the door we were greeted by Katelyn’s sweet and warm smile. She made sure all our initial questions and planning details were taken care of. From there we were ready to book the remainder of our vendors and knew we were in good hands with LVP’s staff. Anastasia provided us with reassurance. Her attention to detail and dedication to our event alleviated all our concerns. We could not ask for a better experience when it came to the planning of our wedding day. Their communication, professionalism, and organization is UNMATCHED! Kelly, Michelle, and Patty were ready to go the week of our wedding to assist us with whatever we needed. From rehearsal, decor set up, and coordination day of the event, LVP’s staff was ready to provide us with their unwavering support. We had our wedding at Saphire Estate in Sharon, MA, and it was everything we hoped for and more. We chose the venue because it gave us that dreamy garden-meets-New England charm that we really missed living in Florida, plus it’s right across from a beautiful lake that made for stunning scenery. From day one, the process with Saphire Event Group was seamless. Their team was responsive, organized, and so accommodating—especially with us planning everything from out of state. We couldn’t attend any in-person meetings aside from our initial visit, and they didn’t skip a beat. My parents even went to our food tasting in our place (bless them), and SEG made it all work without a hitch. We were lucky enough to be paired with Anne, our day-of coordinator and actual angel on Earth. From the very beginning, she felt like a friend—sweet, funny, genuine, and totally on my wavelength. I came into this with messy notes and scattered thoughts, and every time I talked to Anne, she brought clarity and calm. She completely understood the vision, printed and carried around my 3-page Google Doc (LOL), and made sure not a single detail was missed. Even when we made the big decision to change our ceremony location a few months before the wedding, she took it in stride and helped everything fall into place. She had everything perfectly lined up the day of and somehow made me feel like I didn’t need to worry about a single thing Anne, we seriously love you. And to the rest of the team: thank you! The parrot was an incredibly fun place and venue to have our event at, there is some peculiarity around thematics. The first floor was a Halloween party which made sense as it was Halloween, the second floor was entirely decorated in Christmas decor, my party loved the unusual clash of the whole thing

The Tirrell Room is a hidden gem. I cannot speak highly enough of Jen, Amy, Tina, Dennis, Kenny, and the rest of the Tirrell Room staff. Jen and Amy helped through our entire planning process. Putting our minds at ease and making the stress of wedding planning practically 0. Dennis and Kenny, as well as the rest of the kitchen staff, accommodated to every food restriction our guest had. The food was raved about the entire night! The Tirrell Room staff was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The staff at the Villa went above and beyond to ensure that we had the most relaxed and beautiful wedding day ever! Wedding planning was daunting to us, so we were looking for a venue that checked a lot of boxes for us (outdoor ceremony area, alcohol, food). Having a wedding coordinator in addition to all that was SO helpful. Our coordinator Serena was very responsive with the many questions I emailed her, and took care of coordinating with all of our outside vendors. Our day-of event managers Julie and Dave worked so hard to make sure that my husband and I didn't have to stress or lift a finger on our big day. In addition to how beautiful the venue was, I highly recommend any of the Sapphire Event Group venues to couples who, like us, were very overwhelmed with the wedding planning process and didn't know how/where to start. They clearly have this process down to a science!!!

Venezia Restaurant & Events was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning, Jen and her team were personable, individualized, and flexible in their communication style. They respected our vision and brought it together effortlessly. Their venue was truly gorgeous, professional, organized, and stunning. Even though we chose winter, Olivia and as excellent in unlocking the dock area for photos and José even grabbed us spare flip flops when needed (without being asked) They handled any issues that came up and communicated with us the whole time. They also were willing to go above and beyond when we needed anything (such as a mishap with our florist) Jen and her team are truly the best! If you’re looking for a scenic wedding venue on the water with amazing food, easy communication, and seamless coordination, The Lakehouse is it! Almost a month later and we have not stopped receiving compliments about our wedding day. We got married in early November, so there wasn’t much foliage on the trees, but that did not take away any of the beauty of this venue! We lucked out with weather and had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony in front of the lake. The transition from our ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception was flawless and incredibly well-organized. The venue itself is breathtaking with its large windows, offering stunning views and a layout that allowed for an easy and natural flow throughout the day. There are also SO MANY photo ops, so even if weather didn’t cooperate, we would have had gorgeous photos no matter what! The food was nothing short of amazing! All of our guests, even our most high-maintenance ones, were highly impressed from our passed hors d’oeuvres, to our piping hot dinner. They LOVED the cookies & milk station, as well as our late-night french fry bar! I had been dreaming about this day for as long as I can remember, and I am super type-a, so I have been planning every detail for awhile! It was important to me that certain details were executed the way I had envisioned them. We were assigned Victoria as our Event Producer about 8 months prior to our wedding. She gave us the best advice and suggestions throughout the planning process, which is appreciated when you have so many decisions to make! We had a large wedding of 180 guests, as well as an 8-piece band, so it was important to us to have a large dance floor. Victoria put together the perfect floor plan that allowed us to dance the night away! On the day of our wedding, she setup all of our décor the exact way we envisioned it, and then some! We were so happy to have her there, and she was equally excited to be there for us. We truly did not have to lift a finger once we got to the venue! Our Event Manager, Aubre, kept everything running smoothly behind-the-scenes on our wedding day to the point where we did not have to worry about a thing. Our Wedding Attendant, Emma, was always right there when we needed her! She carried my bouquet or drink, bustled my dress, and even made sure we had and ate our appetizers, dinner, and dessert! These 3 women were lifesavers, and we could not have gotten through the day without them! They were so kind, thoughtful, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure us and our guests were happy and taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, stress-free experience, and we are so grateful to The Lakehouse and Saphire Event Group team for making our wedding day so perfect and unforgettable!

This past weekend, Woods Hill Pier 4 hosted my daughter's rehearsal dinner and welcome party with a full buy out of the restaurant. The food, the ambiance, the service were all amazing. My guests couldn't stop raving about the unique passed appetizers, raw bar and gourmet sandwiches. From my first contact with their Event Planner, Hilary , to the final touches the day of the event, she was responsive, creative and collaborative. She always got back to right away with answers to all of my questions so I never for a moment questioned our decision to book Woods Hill for such an important day in my daughter's life.

I cannot thank the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor enough for everything they did to help make our wedding the most magical experience of our lives. I could not have picked a venue that better reflected me and my husband. We live 15 minutes away from the Hyatt by the water and it perfectly reflects the mix of coastal and city vibes that we love so much. Leading up to the wedding we would go to the Hyatt's restaurant regularly so we could become familiarized with the venue and just enjoy the stunning scenery. We will continue to always do that and will be reminded of our incredible wedding day there, and at this point the Hyatt feels like a 2nd home to us. The staff members were so professional and helpful the weekend of the wedding and truly throughout the whole year planning process, especially Joan and Kim who were our main contacts. They were extremely responsive and any roadblock we may have run into they addressed immediately and were so accommodating. On the big day itself we had so many people come up to us saying it was one of the most beautiful weddings they've ever been to, with the most spectacular views. The sunset was unreal, and I highly recommend getting the raw bar which just added to the ambiance during cocktail hour as well! We had a 3 event weekend with a welcome hour the night before, the wedding itself, and then the farewell brunch and it all went off without a hitch. People could not get over the location, views, and overall aesthetic and loved the hotel rooms as well. For our rehearsal dinner in Seaport we were able to go right in the backyard of the hotel and take the Boston Water taxi to and from the dinner which was a major benefit and highlight of the weekend! Then when we got back to the hotel, the welcome hour was all set up and ready for us to have Hors d'oeuvres and a full bar for the remainder of our guests who arrived at the hotel the night before the wedding! We hired a guitarist/vocalist to perform at the welcome hour and the venue space on the 2nd floor veranda was perfect for the event and a huge hit! Another big highlight outside of the wedding itself was getting ready day-of in the Junior Suite. My bridesmaids and the Moms were so comfortable and had a blast getting ready throughout the day in a gorgeous space overlooking the city. We had breakfast and lunch brought into the suite for all the girls and it was delicious. Even the guys had their own private space to get ready as well in a big conference room which was perfect for them. Overall the getting ready experience, the events surrounding the wedding, and the wedding itself was everything we could have dreamed of and I'm so grateful to the Hyatt. We also got so many Hyatt points by having our wedding there that our entire Hawaii honeymoon stay at the Grand Hyatt Kauai ended up being covered by those points! It was an incredible benefit and really a cherry on top of our dream coastal/city wedding. We would recommend to anyone to have their wedding at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor :)

We had a wonderful wedding at the Nahant Country Club. Yasmene and Heather were great to work with and our wedding ran incredibly smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful and unique, our guests had a great time. The prices are incredibly reasonable and we additionally received an off season discount. Their wedding packages include so much beyond the standard wedding packages including the use of the bridal suite, appetizers/champagne in the bridal suite on the wedding day, use of their (beautiful) centerpieces, a separate happy hour for the wedding party during photographs and much more. Yasmene went above and beyond on our wedding day- she even sewed my nephew's superhero mask when it broke. Many of our guests commented on how she was the best wedding coordinator they had ever seen. Overall, we are incredibly happy with our selection of the Nahant Country Club. It is a beautiful venue run by incredibly efficient and kind women!

We hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Dillon’s in August. The location was great and the back bar was well sized for our group (20 for dinner and 80 for the party). The events coordinator worked with us to pick a menu and iron out logistics (mostly how to transition from dinner to party, and how much food to order, etc.), and was very transparent on pricing. All in all, the food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was lively – exactly what we wanted!

Batifol was the perfect venue for our wedding of 100 guests. From the start, Desmond and Kelly were wonderful to work with - they were flexible, communicative, and receptive to our vision. The setup and layout of the space was ideal, and their team provided amazing and prompt service throughout the day. The food and drinks were delicious, and they were incredibly accommodating with the drop off and pick up of our decor, as well as very helpful with the setup. We were able to have our ceremony in their bakery space which worked out beautifully, then everyone flowed out onto the patio for cocktail hour, and then into the restaurant for dinner & reception—the setup was perfect and everyone raved about how great to atmosphere was. The Multicultural Arts Center was a beautiful venue for our wedding ceremony and reception! We had our ceremony outdoors in the courtyard just outside the building, and the staff helped us to get the permits to use the courtyard, helped to set up microphones for the ceremony, and also helped work with us on a backup plan to have the ceremony indoors in case it had rained on our wedding day. The courtyard is a charming spot with trellises and greenery and is surrounded by classic-looking New England buildings. Adria and Taylor on the staff were extremely helpful in helping us plan our reception: they answered our many questions and let us rehearse in the venue so that we could figure out how we wanted to lay out the space. The theater hall was an amazing place to have our reception: we especially loved the balcony and the design of the ceiling, and there was plenty of room for a little over 100 guests, buffet tables, a DJ, and a dance floor. The venue was also a really convenient location for our guests - it's close to the T and has several nearby hotels. Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Pagu! From the start, the chef and owner Tracy was incredibly responsive and she got back to us right away when we inquired about hosting our wedding at the restaurant. She shared a detailed event order with sample dishes and estimated charges, which really helped us get the ball rolling with our planning. When we were able to visit Boston (we're based out of state), Tracy personally gave us our initial walkthrough. The combination of the restaurant’s cozy interior and beautiful, spacious outdoor patio made Pagu the perfect venue for our 100-guest celebration. One of the biggest reasons we wanted a restaurant wedding was the food, and Pagu absolutely delivered! Amanda and Chris T. took great care of us during our food and drink tastings, and everything was truly fantastic. The string beans, chicken katsu, miso cod, and wagyu beef were standout dishes. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them! Tracy’s custom hot honey biscuits were also a huge hit as a late-night snack, and both the double chocolate and strawberry cakes were delicious crowd-pleasers. Like many couples, we barely had time to eat during the whirlwind of the day, but we were so happy that Pagu prepared a to-go bag of all of our food and it was all still incredibly delicious, even the next day! As the big day approached, the team answered all our questions promptly and worked closely with us to rearrange the table layout so everyone could be seated comfortably. We held our rehearsal at the venue the day before, and Amanda was incredibly helpful in coordinating everyone and making sure we all felt confident and prepared for the ceremony. The Pagu team also went above and beyond to accommodate our last-minute requests (including pickleback shots and matcha cookie favors), which was deeply appreciated. Everything went off without a hitch on the actual wedding day. The transitions between ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner were all totally seamless, thanks to the coordination of Amanda, Chris, and Winson; it was clear that they are all seasoned pros at running a wedding, which helped us relax and enjoy the day worry-free! We can’t recommend Pagu highly enough for a wedding or special event! The food, the space, and, most importantly, the people made our day unforgettable and exceeded all expectations. We were incredibly impressed with the whole team throughout the entire process. There were so many thoughtful touches and interactions that happened throughout the planning and on the day itself. We had a post wedding party here with about 60 guests. The food was awesome, and service was good too. If you’re looking for a very cool place to have a wedding, this is a great option. Highly recommend!
