When I went to see the Wedgewood Danza location I was amazed of the beautiful views from every point you stood at. I knew this location did not need much of decoration because just itself was gorgeous. The team was able to make my wedding possible in 2 months!!! It was definitely planned fast but the amount of detail put in was as if it was planned months. The staff and vendors were amazing, extremely helpful and talented. We got married on December 14, 2024 and it was the most beautiful day we could have imagined! We booked the venue over a year in advance and throughout the entire planning process, the entire team was so available and responsive. As the day approached, we met with our day-of coordination Laura and she was truly amazing!! She helped me create the day of my dreams and was very prompt in responding to any of our concerns. She helped bring our vision to life and I am so grateful!! The very inclusive experience at The Secret Garden was also so helpful. We ended up going through our own food vendor for BBQ for dinner, but everything else was seamless and really helped ease the wedding planning stress. The photography and videography team was so amazing and captured our day so beautifully. I still cry tears of joy looking at our pictures and videos from the special day! :') The DJ services provided were also amazing and we couldn't have been happier with DJ Jason Lyons! Overall, we could not be happier with our experience at The Secret Garden. It was worth every penny to marry my best friend at such a beautiful place surrounded by everyone we love!! :)”

“I’ve spent a lot of my life looking at structures and solutions, but what happened at Jackalope Ranch for our wedding wasn't about the architecture of a building—it was about the architecture of a soul-level experience. We came into this day looking for something authentic and grounded, and what we found was a crew that didn't just "work" an event; they cared for us like family. Amidst record, unseasonably hot weather that could have easily derailed the outdoor spirit of the day, the staff ensured every moment felt effortless. Erinmary and Destiny were quiet anchors. We never had to look for them; they were simply there, anticipating needs before they were even spoken. Lillian and Gilbert are names we will carry with us for the way they treated us - we will say hi from now on when we see them. My friends and family haven't stopped talking about the food—several people told me it was the best they’ve ever had at any wedding, period. Even as someone who isn’t a drinker, I heard nothing but praise for the bartenders and the spirit they brought to the house. There is a weight to a day like this, a vulnerability in standing before those you love. Jackalope Ranch gave us the room to breathe. Whether it was the privacy of the events room to cool off, the stunning backdrop for our first look, helping to arrange the seating and tables or the photo shoot at the bar, they gave us the run of the place with our best interests at heart. We felt like celebrities, but more importantly, we felt seen and supported. I suggested they could say they "put the elope in Jackalope," but for us, they put the heart in it. It was flawless, honest, and truly unforgettable.”

“We just had our wedding at The Homestead and couldn’t have been happier! It was the wedding day of our dreams. Paula: she was so on top of everything at the rehearsal and on the day of, my family and bridal party really appreciated her thoroughness. She also was so accommodating to any requests we wanted for our wedding day! She and her workers spent so much time setting up our seating chart in such a beautiful way I would have never thought of. We had so many additional things planned for our wedding but she and her team made it all happen and run smoothly too! She even decked out our cake with our personal decorations using her creative judgement and it looked so cute. Email correspondences took some time to get replies, but texts and phone calls were promptly answered! DJ Milo: was a great MC and DJ. I was a little worried he wouldn’t play the songs we requested, as friends had that issue with different djs at their weddings, but every song was one we had asked for! Which really helped create the vibe we were looking for on our wedding day. He also flawlessly looped songs when some activities ran a bit too long. Haverland catering: the food was delicious and the portions were HUGE! I didn’t hear any complaints about being hungry. Desserts: pie and cake were both included in the package! And we had so much left over which was great because I wasn’t really able to eat much on the actual wedding day. They also let us bring macarons for an extra dessert table, and set it all up for us! Photobooth and late night treat: the guests always had something to do! Even if they weren’t interested in the dance floor. There was also areas to sit and talk peacefully away from the music. Bride whisperer: I even forgot about this until the day of the wedding! But I had an attendant with me the whole time to hold onto my bouquet when needed, get me water or drinks or food, and help me with my 3 costume changes. Dora: was so helpful in the girls cottage in the morning! Checking up on us every 15 minutes. And when the flower girl petals did not match the color scheme of the event, she and Paula went to get different petals. They really cared about all the little details! Florals: the flowers and table settings were beautiful, although not exactly what I was expecting. We had discussed moss for the tables but did not end up having it on the day of. Not a big deal, and the guests all thought the florals were beautiful. Bar Tender: was amazing! This venue is so good because it is BYOB. We were able to have 3 signature cocktails and she helped me to create the recipes and buy the proper amounts of ingredients. I was texting her back and forth making changes and tweaking the recipes until it was just right! She was always very responsive. The guests loved the drinks! The venue: speaks for itself, it is so beautiful! Our guests did not understand why we were getting married in Oak Glen, but once they were there they all understood. Also, when we booked the venue I was not thinking of this but it is ADA accessible. I ended up getting injured and needing knee surgery before the wedding so having an accessible venue was a great plus!”

Here at the HomeStead we pride ourselves on not being copy and paste, each wedding here is built around the couples individualized style and vision. Due to our elevation (4,750ft), we have Season's! Our Spring is lush and green (last weekend of April thru mid-July). Summer is generally temperate (late July to August), and in Fall, the colors are eye-catching (September thru mid-November). Weddings are not scheduled from the last week in November through mid-April, but we are open for tours and visits throughout the year. “This is one, absolutely, wonderful place. My wife and I had our wedding here...Let me tell ya. It was magical. The owners are exceedingly nice and helpful. Setup day of...there was plenty of time and the onsite staff was beyond helpful, I mean above and beyond. The bartenders were stellar, we had such a blast at the bar. They were so absolutely lovely and jovial. The venue is so gorgeous. I mean it really is the perfect desert oasis. It is well lit and well setup up. It's cozy and warm and just simply wonderful. We elected for the tacos and they were freakin awesome. They also did my favorite with grilled onions and peppers. I loved getting married there. We had a native/western ceremony and it was the perfect fit. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect place. I highly recommend!!!!!!”

Big Bear Mountain Resort

“Our experience having our wedding at Big Bear Mountain Resort was absolutely amazing!! From the planning to the venue to the staff to the food, everything was fabulous. Here is the breakdown of our experience: Planning Process: Working with Elizabeth, the BBMR coordinator, made planning so much easier. She was super responsive - always quick to reply to emails or texts - and really helped me think of details and questions I might have forgotten on my own. She kept everything organized and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks, which made the day feel completely stress-free. The Venue: The locations we used were beautiful and worked really well for our wedding. Ceremony (Top of Chair 2): Taking the chairlift up to the ceremony was a fun experience that our guests really enjoyed. The ceremony site has a gorgeous view of Big Bear Lake and is surrounded by trees. The wooden arch they built was a nice touch. For ADA guests who couldn’t take the chairlift, BBMR can drive them up, which was great. Cocktail Hour (Hog on the Rocks): The cocktail hour deck had amazing views of the San Jacinto mountains - it felt like we were on top of the world. Even though it’s up on the mountain, we had an open bar and a tasty charcuterie board for everyone to enjoy (I’m pretty sure you could choose to do hors d’oeuvres up there too, but we didn’t personally choose that). Reception (The Meadows): The reception area at the base of the mountain was cozy and inviting, with string lights, fresh mountain air, and a roaring fire. It was a great space for everyone to relax and have fun. The Staff: The staff were fantastic. Guests commented multiple times on how friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful they were, and how they really helped make the day run smoothly. The Food: The food was really good - definitely better than what you might expect at a mountain venue. We went with the Timber Ridge menu (salad, tri-tip, garlic-roasted chicken, vegetables, and thyme-roasted potatoes), and it was all delicious. They were also flexible with dietary restrictions, which was helpful for some of our guests. The Price: After looking at a bunch of other venues, I felt like BBMR was the best value for the quality of the venue. Preferred Vendors: BBMR’s preferred vendors list made choosing vendors easier. We used the photographer and bakery from the list, and both were excellent. Lee Stockwell captured beautiful photos, and the strawberry champagne cake from Sister My Sister Bakery was both delicious and a hit with our guests. The Extra Touches: BBMR went above and beyond with adding little details that made the day feel complete—directional signs, lanterns on the tables, themed cake-cutting utensils, and even gold sparkles in the signature cocktails. Those small touches really added to the overall experience. So basically, I would 100% recommend BBMR for your wedding!”

“I had the absolute pleasure of getting married at this venue just a month ago, and I can confidently say it’s a hidden gem! Everything came together beautifully. We chose the Elite Package and worked with their in-house florist, Events by Floral Sensations (amazing floral arrangements omg!), DJ from JC Entertainment, and cake vendor, Bo Cakes, while bringing in our own officiant and photographer. Every detail went above and beyond my expectations. I'm still getting compliments on how gorgeous the venue was and how amazing the food tasted! Iveth, our coordinator, was incredible. She made the entire process so smooth and stress-free, which truly says a lot coming from someone with a Type A personality who usually struggles to let go of control (LOL). The venue also provides a wedding planner to help keep everything organized and on track, which made the planning process so much easier for me. The day of coordination went without a hitch and Kyle, our DJ, did such an amazing job with the music for our ceremony and the reception and Iveth was on top of everything! The food was absolutely delicious! Admittedly, we were a little hesitant after sampling it at the extravaganza, where much of it was overcooked, likely due to the small bite-sized portions prepared for the crowd. But don’t let that discourage you. On the actual day, the prime rib was cooked to perfection, the sides were flavorful, and everyone kept raving about the tray-passed appetizers. Will set aside a special platter of appetizers for my husband and me so we wouldn’t miss out while we were taking family portraits during cocktail hour. The drinks were another highlight! Strong, flavorful, and consistently complimented by our guests! At the end of the night, they packaged up our leftover cake, 2 plates of leftovers to go with a bottle of champagne with a thoughtful thank you note. I would do it all over again! I am so glad I came across Wedgewood Weddings, you guys have an incredible team! We had so many hiccups on our end leading up to the date (including emergency surgery for me just 2 weeks prior to the wedding) but I didn’t stress out at all. From the bridal suite cocktails, the air stream for the boys, and our personal chauffeur, Debbie, the entire day was incredible!! I’m still smiling thinking of it. Not to mention, the amount of compliments I received afterwards about the atmosphere, the food, and the experience were amazing. “Where to even start!? Miller's Landing was the most amazing venue starting from our initial visit when we first toured. They have been nothing but kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire wedding process. My husband and I just got married in September 2024, and it was absolutely beautiful and everything we could have hoped for. We got married when the California fires had us all concerned that our wedding could even happen...Kellan, Terri, and the Miller's Landing team were especially amazing then. Kellan, the one I was in contact with the months leading up to the wedding was so responsive. She answered emails quickly and very thoroughly. She gave great suggestions and tips for our day. Terri, was so kind during the visits and made us feel at home right away. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and the barn makes for an intimate and warm reception. Our month of/day of coordinator Ashly was also amazing. She made sure everything ran smoothly the entire day. We did not have to worry about one thing the entire day, and it made the getting ready portion of the day so memorable and relaxing. Our cocktail hour/reception was so fun. The bartenders from R&B Mixing Co were awesome and had our guests happy. The appetizers, dinner, and late night snacks provided by Fox in the Woods (venues caterer) was absolutely delicious. We still have people telling us it was the best wedding food they have had. Overall, our wedding was truly the best day, and we just want Miller's Landing to know how much we appreciate them. We would recommend this venue a million times! My husband, is a wedding videographer and was very picky when we toured wedding venues, and his expectations were met and exceeded.
