Rimrock Ranch is a beautiful 36 acre ranch situated just outside Joshua Tree National Park in Pioneertown, California that was originally built as the weekend retreat for western actors like Gene Autry and Roy Rogers. The ranch consists of 4 rustic Cabins, retro-fitted Airstream trailers, a lodge and the internationally famous architectural masterpiece known as the Hatch House. The ranch is located just 2 hours from Los Angeles and 40 minutes from Palm Springs. Rimrock is the perfect getaway for those visiting Joshua Tree, Pioneertown or taking in live music at the world renowned Pappy and Harriet’s. Rimrock is also a serene location for weddings, retreats, film/photography shoots or celebrations of any kind.

Rimrock Ranch is an open-desert wedding venue located in Rimrock, California. This 36-acre ranch is situated just outside the Joshua Tree National Park near Pioneertown, California. Detailed with four rustic cabins, and retrofitted airstream trailers, this venue is a unique location for couples who want something a little different on their wedding day. The americana-style is a wonderful location for wedding photos that will get your friends and family talking for years to come. Rimrock Ranch provides accommodations across the grounds. The Hatch House, the Cabins, the Lodge and the Campers all provide various levels of space and comfort for wedding couples and their guests.

Perfect desert venue!
My husband and I got married at Rimrock Ranch in early April, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the venue exceeded our expectations. The property is stunning, beautifully maintained, and created the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. Gwen and her team were incredible throughout the entire process. They were attentive, thoughtful, and detail-oriented, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt supported every step of the way. Their care and professionalism allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the day. We genuinely had the best day ever, and so much of that is thanks to Rimrock Ranch and the amazing team behind it. If you're looking for a beautiful wedding venue with exceptional people who truly care, we couldn't recommend Rimrock Ranch more highly.

Magical experience from start to finish!
We got married at Rimrock Ranch on the Spring Equinox this year and I can’t recommend this venue enough! Gwen and the team were incredible from start to finish, making sure that things were not only seamless but also providing such a comfortable and FUN stay for us and our guests! The high desert is such a special place to my husband and I, and this space does an amazing job of capturing its magic in an event venue. We plan to come back to visit for many anniversaries to come!

Best Wedding Venue Ever
We couldn’t have asked for a more magical wedding venue! The beautiful desert landscape created a stunning backdrop for every moment—from our ceremony to golden hour photos. The natural beauty of the surroundings truly made our day feel unforgettable. The lodging accommodations were beyond amazing—comfortable, stylish, and perfect for our family and friends to relax and celebrate with us. Every detail was thoughtfully done, and it felt like a retreat in the middle of paradise. What truly set this place apart, though, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and that we felt supported every step of the way. Their warmth and professionalism made all the difference. Gwen, Eric and Reno (and the rest of the staff), from the bottom of our hearts thank you. You are forever a part of our family 3 We are so grateful to have found this gem and would recommend it to anyone looking for a breathtaking, meaningful, and seamless wedding experience.

10/10 Would Book Again
Rimrock Ranch was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Their communication style was open, flexible, and relaxed, which put us at ease throughout the planning process. The quality of their work and the overall value was exceptional - the space was intentionally designed to be beautiful and intimate, creating the exact atmosphere we wanted for our special celebration. The team took care of all the check-in and set up/tear down logistics, and having enough space for our guests to stay onsite made the weekend seamless. We are so grateful to the Rimrock Ranch team for helping to make our wedding day truly unforgettable. I would love any reason to come back here in the future!

Most beautiful venue
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The views are incredible, the property is well kept and so beautiful. Gwen and team were so easy going and so easy to communicate with. It was our dream come true venue and made for the perfect night.
