“We had the absolute privilege of booking Monarch Farms for our wedding venue this June, and could not be more grateful we did. After admiring Monarch Farms from afar prior to getting engaged, we knew it was the venue of our dreams and was our first priority in wedding planning. Monarch Farms speaks for itself; the natural beauty of the property, the warm and homey touches scattered throughout, the inviting atmosphere, and so much more. It could not have been a better fit for our vision. Aside from the venue itself, Emily could not have been better to work with. From our first communication all the way to the wedding day and beyond, she has been extremely professional, considerate and accommodating of our wants and needs, and such a pleasure all around. She is caring, inviting, and so passionate about what she does. She goes above and beyond to help create your perfect day, which alone makes her among the best. We could not be more happy with our selection and are so happy to continue supporting Monarch Farms.”

“Our wedding planning began with a visit to the Barn on the Pemi, and we were instantly captivated. Its picturesque setting, complete with a charming greenhouse for the ceremony and breathtaking mountain views, left a big impression. What's more, the Barn provided everything we needed, sparing us the hassle of sourcing rentals. With tables, chairs, utensils, linens, and more included, it was just perfect, especially since we had decided on a short engagement. After our initial visit, I turned to my now-husband and said, "I loved it. Please tell me we don't have to go look anywhere else," and he just smiled. My dad couldn't stop raving about the expansive menu either; being a Common Man property, the food was amazing. Our guests agreed, saying it the best wedding meal they'd ever had. The Barn's staff were incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, even accommodating a second visit so our day-of coordinator could familiarize herself with the venue. With most of our vendors experienced at the Barn, coordination was seamless, ensuring a smooth and stress-free day. The Barn is a dog-friendly venue, which was perfect because we wanted dour dog to be part of our wedding. They require someone to be designated or hired as the dog's chaperone of course, but it was wonderful to have her there with us. Our venue coordinator, Carole, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran like clockwork. From working with our day-of coordinator to keep us on schedule to ensuring we were fed and hydrated, she was a godsend. Even when my dress needed bustling or my veil went astray, she was there to save the day. Transportation was also a breeze thanks to the Barn's trolleys, shuttling guests to and from nearby hotels effortlessly. In every way, our wedding day was incredible, and the Barn on the Pemi proved to be the perfect place to celebrate our special day.”

“On The River Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration. From the moment we started planning, the staff was proactive, detail-oriented, and genuinely kind. The process of booking and coordinating with them was so easy, and the venue itself was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean. They hosted many of our out-of-town guests, and we heard nothing but rave reviews about their comfortable accommodations and hospitality. The highlight was our welcome party, where we were able to bring in our favorite food trucks and live music, with a bonfire and the soothing sound of the river below. “I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Nicole, Keith, and the Greatful Dane Lodge! My husband, Shaun, and I had our wedding here this past weekend, and I’m so “greatful” that we came across this venue when we did. After touring nearly 10 venues, we were starting to think we would never find the one. As soon as we met Nicole and saw the lodge, we knew this was it. Not only is the pricing genuinely affordable for a wedding, but the venue itself is absolutely stunning. All 55 of our guests were raving about it throughout the entire night! We booked the Destination Wedding Package since most guests were traveling from out of state, and everyone staying on site was comfortable and had plenty of space. From the moment we booked, I never once felt pressured, rushed, or like we were being nickel-and-dimed for every little thing. Nicole and Keith went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend everything we hoped it would be, and I could not be more appreciative of all the work they put in behind the scenes to make it happen. If you’re looking for a venue where you’ll be treated like a person rather than a paycheck, and where the owners genuinely care about making your wedding special, TOUR THIS PLACE!! You’ll fall in love with it just like Shaun and I did. ️️ We truly could not recommend the Greatful Dane Lodge, Nicole, and Keith enough!”

“I cannot say enough good things about the team and the venue of Okemo. My husband and I were married here over the last weekend and it was beyond our highest expectations. We had a fully weekend of parties - Friday welcome party, Saturday summit ceremony with round barn reception, and a breakfast on Sunday morning. The accommodations blew everyone away, the service was seamless, and the grounds were gorgeous. They managed to provide top-tier service and polish while also staying very true to the ski mountain feel, which was perfect for us. There is a beautiful rain plan also, under the stone arch, which is totally unique - so if it is rainy, it's still an epic location. You can tell they regularly invest in this place and keep it nice. There are so many high quality amenities onsite, from the many pools to the gym, the pickleball courts, and of course all the unique activities in the adventure zone, people absolutely loved it. The team though is very impressive. Every step of the way, they were thinking of everything and worked to answer all of our (many) questions and considerations in detail, and they considered everything. the logistics were impeccable, which is a feat for a summit ceremony getting 120 people up and down a chairlift. The food was incredible, and was served quickly to all tables. The round barn had been freshly painted and was lovely. a special thank you to Maggie and Chef Mark, who not only delivered the results but supported and coordinated with us throughout the process, making me and my family feel very confident in the team throughout the stressful planning process. What a fantastic experience, if you're considering it don't hesitate to choose this amazing venue!”

“The Inn at Pleasant Lake had a bit of a delayed and disorganized communication style leading up to our wedding day. While the grounds and gardens were quite nice, the overall presentation and upkeep could have been better. The staff did spread mums around and were accommodating, but they seemed unprepared to handle the larger size of our wedding. The venue has a lot of potential to be a great wedding spot, but they need a more organized staff that can deliver on their promises. Overall, the experience was beautiful and we would recommend it.”

“We got married at the Summit Lodge in Killington, Vermont this past August, and it truly could not have been more perfect. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful—tucked in the mountains with gorgeous views and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. One of the most unique and amazing parts was being able to have the entire property to ourselves for four days. It made the whole experience feel relaxed, intimate, and so special for us and our guests. From the welcome gathering to the wedding day and everything in between, it felt like our own private mountain retreat. Angela, the coordinator, was incredible to work with and made the entire process feel seamless. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail came together perfectly. Her support staff, especially Brigitte, were equally amazing—so helpful, organized, and genuinely kind throughout the entire weekend. They made us feel completely taken care of and allowed us to truly enjoy every moment. The owner, Emmett, was also fantastic and offered so much helpful advice along the way. It was clear how much he cares about the experience couples and their guests have there. Our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything ran—so many people have told us it was their favorite wedding they’ve ever been to. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly. We also highly recommend asking about RambleTree, one of their partnered bands that plays Irish music during the winter months, for a late-night set. It was one of the highlights of our wedding and really added to the Irish charm of the whole celebration.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better venue experience for our wedding weekend (which consisted of a welcome party in the Mapleview Gardens, tented Front Lawn ceremony and reception, and after party in the Golf Clubhouse). Bonnie and her team were incredibly easy to work with from start to finish, quick to respond to any emails, and truly went above and beyond to bring all of our ideas, visions, and requests to life. Since our guests were traveling, it was nice to have a one-stop-shop for all of the wedding activities once guests arrived, and the Wappanachee Cottage was the perfect home base for the bride/groom and family to stay for the weekend and have plenty of room to separate to get ready. When the weather didn’t (at all!) cooperate, they were flexible and proactive, offering back-up spaces and seamlessly adapting plans to ensure everything still felt magical and stress-free. “Our whole family had a phenomenal experience at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, VT, all as part of our daughter’s wedding in early October 2024. From the day we first toured Riverside Farm in November of 2022, the gorgeous setting and friendly, deeply experienced team gave us a great feeling about RF that continued through to the wedding and to this day. From late 2022 onward, RF gave us excellent advice and support on every aspect of planning the wedding – the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, all of the wedding day festivities, the afterparty and the Sunday departure brunch. We did not have – and did not need – a separate wedding planner. Our RF coordinator, Kaycee Bushee, was a terrific resource throughout. First, she greeted every question or concern with the same calm, pleasant, and constructive approach – never “too busy” to listen carefully and help. Second, when the wedding arrived, Kaycee oversaw everything with a clear idea of what needed to happen and when, plus a gentle hand to move things along invisibly. Her very capable team members were all well-trained and on the same page. RF requires the use of a small group of core vendors, a practice we came to value immensely. RF works exclusively with Vermont Farms Catering, plus one transportation provider and another company that sets up each event. Far from limiting, we found it a great way to create alignment with these critical groups. They went above and beyond to make sure that RF’s clients (and RF itself) were thrilled. A special note on Vermont Farms Catering, owned/operated by Katie Stiles (our primary contact) and Chef Kevin Lasko (Katie’s husband). They are remarkable, having transitioned to Vermont from the intensive Manhattan restaurant scene. Over the years, VFC has established close relationships with all of the best farmers, ranchers and producers within a broad radius. We knew instantly – when we had a “test” tasting in early 2024 – that our guests would be extremely well-served. For help finding other vendors, Kaycee was always there with a range of recommendations and “color” on photographers, florists, linen providers, etc. She knows of, has color on, or has worked directly with most wedding-related vendors throughout Vermont and New England – many of whom have handled events at RF. Beyond these outstanding individuals at RF, Riverside Farm itself is extraordinary. Whether in full sun or any other conditions, Riverside Farm itself truly shines. It is a spectacular physical place – vast and yet intimate at the same time due to the open sightlines. It offers multiple separate venues that together could comfortably host a great wedding in any weather conditions. Plus, RF provides accommodations for the wedding party at RF, and for family/close friends at a lovely 15-room inn, Amee Farm Lodge, just a mile away and under common ownership with RF. As to issues or negatives, we truly didn’t have any. Nothing occurred that caused any level of frustration or concern. It was amazingly smooth given the number of guests (170) and the numerous events from mid-Friday through the departure brunch on Sunday. As noted, this was not by accident or just good luck. Kaycee and the RF team are outstanding both as to assisting in the planning and in the detailed, smooth and crisp execution of the final plan. As is clear from the above, our entire family wholeheartedly and without reservation recommends Riverside Farm for your family’s wedding.”

“I cannot say enough positive things about the Rosewood Country Inn as a wedding venue. This venue is special in that you get the entire 11-room inn for the weekend (Fri-Sun), and so we were able to have our closest friends and family staying with us, which was a blast! The inn offers a beautiful country setting on the outside that is perfect for an outdoor ceremony. We held ours at the gazebo in the courtyard, which was surrounded by beautiful trees and scenery that make for gorgeous pictures. The dining hall of the inn hosts the reception, and is perfect for an intimate and stylish dining experience that then morphs a dance floor! The food is excellent (Stan's stuffed french toast can't be missed), not only for the reception but the rehearsal dinner and breakfasts on Sat and Sun. Stan and Odo are extremely kind and gracious hosts, who let us make our wedding truly our own!”

“20/10 recommend getting married on the Mountain Top! The venue in and of itself is a DREAM. The staff and servers went above and beyond. Shout out to the events coordinator manager, Danny, who quite literally was always smiling and checking in on us our entire wedding weekend. My husband and I live out in Seattle, but we’re both from Massachusetts. We wanted somewhere in New England that has that rugged mountain landscape, but also somewhere everyone could join us for the whole weekend. I’m so obsessed with it here, can’t WAIT to come back! We used Meadows Edge Florals for our flowers/decorations, and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Gayle and her team. We used Juniper Studios for photography and Angela and Idena’s talents are something I can’t even put into words. Best decisions I’ve ever made.”

“My husband and I got married at LBL in July 11, 2026. There are so many great things about this venue and the staff there! I'll start by saying the venue itself was so nice. We had events Thursday-Sunday and it was amazing to have a place where all of our guests could spend the weekend and have things to do. Pickleball was a huge hit and a lot of people got out to enjoy the water in between wedding events. It was also nice to be able to have everything happen in one place so no one had to drive anywhere. It really allowed us to spend as much time with our guests as possible. Moving on to the staff, literally everyone (office staff, bar staff, room staff, wait staff) that worked there was great to interact with. They were always willing to help us out. Everyone there was so relaxed throughout the weekend I was worried that there would be something that went wrong but they got so many things done without me having to think about it let alone instruct them. As a type A bride this felt magical to have happened. You can tell they are experienced in running weddings and they care about making it the weekend that you want it to be. Rebecca was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was always quick to reply to emails and supper positive and reassuring through every step. We had a large room block and the office staff was helpful in coordinating all of the details and changes that came with reservations and welcome bags. LBL was supportive of the unique things we wanted to do. For example LBL handled the delivery, storage, and prep of a live butterfly release at the ceremony. They also were willing to take our Ninja slushy machine and use it to make a signature slushy cocktail throughout the night. I can't stress enough how great LBL was to work with and would definitely recommend having your wedding here!”

“We had the most incredible winter wedding at Church Landing. The views of the frozen lake and snowy mountains were spectacular. We spent most of our time inside because it was so cold, but that was perfectly fine since the ballroom was so beautiful and elegant. Our assigned wedding coordinator Rachael Boisvert was amazing. She made everything I wanted to do happen without question. She went above and beyond by not only coordinating the staff and setting up the tables but also setting up the extra decor items I brought in a beautiful way too. She brought my vision to life. I was surprised by how easy she made the day before and the day of the wedding! The waitstaff was equally amazing, so attentive to our needs and wthe needs of our guests. We paid one reasonable price for the venue, food, open bar and we even added the rehearsal dinner in a different room at Church Landing! All in all it was a great value. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day and we are so grateful to the entire team at Mills Falls for making it unforgettable! ”

“Our February 2025 wedding at The Pitcher Inn was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the entire experience felt effortless, warm, and deeply personal. Jim truly led the service team with exceptional care and professionalism. He made sure every detail ran seamlessly—not just on the wedding day, but throughout our entire two-night stay afterward. Anything we needed was anticipated before we even had to ask, which made the whole experience feel incredibly thoughtful and calm. Sergiu, Shanay, and Jannielle deserve special recognition for keeping the energy light, fun, and engaging. Our guests absolutely loved connecting with them—it felt less like “staff” and more like friends who were genuinely excited to be part of the celebration. Their presence elevated the entire evening. The food was a 12/10. Not a single dish was sent back, which says everything. Chef Jacob and the kitchen team (Marine, Arra, Cem, Ervin, and Stella) went above and beyond, even accommodating a gluten-free request for just one guest with care and attention that never felt like an afterthought. And the cake—crafted by head baker Jordan—was truly breathtaking. It looked like something straight out of Vogue and tasted just as incredible. Our ceremony was very small and intimate at the courthouse up the road, and our cocktail-style celebration at The Pitcher was intentionally simple. But doing “simple” well requires an immense amount of planning—and thanks to Caitlin leading the way, I didn’t stress once. She took everything off my plate, made decisions easy, and even stepped in to make choices for me when needed. Her calm confidence allowed me to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We already can’t wait to do a vow renewal someday—just so we have an excuse to plan another party at The Pitcher Inn. This place, and the people who make it what it is, will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”
