Joy des Fleurs
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $500
  • Serves Norman, NC
  • Offer

I discovered my passion for floral design nine years ago while creating the arrangements for my sister’s wedding. That joyful experience inspired me to launch my own floral design and decor business, Joy des Fleurs. Since then, I have designed for a wide variety of occasions, with a special focus on weddings.

From the moment I met with Carrie at Joy des Fleurs, I knew I was in good hands. She was a thorough and creative communicator, listening closely to my vision for the retirement party flowers and offering thoughtful, beautiful ideas to bring it to life. The flower arrangements she created for our retirement party tables were the perfect complement to the theme, adding a vibrant pop of color that set the tone for the party. Carrie's professionalism and visionary approach made the process seamless, and the end result was breathtaking - the floral designs were creative, thoughtful, and truly elevated the entire celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better florist to be a part of our special day.

Twin Blooms + Traveling Flower Cart
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Serves Norman, NC

Greetings, my name is Marissa. I am the owner of Twin Blooms traveling flower cart. The inspiration for my business stems from my twin sons. They inspire me every day to be the best version of myself. Therefore, I wanted to create a business that makes people smile while inspiring their creativity. We provide full floral service for wedding and all events.

Awarded Best of Zola
Twin Blooms Traveling Flower Cart provided exceptional floral services for our wedding. Marissa and her team were clear, prompt, authentic, and fair in their pricing and communication throughout the planning process. Their work was truly creative, visionary, and beautiful - they brought my idea for a hydrangea ring around the chandeliers to life in the most stunning way. I gave them minimal direction on the types and colors of flowers, and they delivered vibrant, locally-sourced arrangements and bouquets that perfectly complemented our fall wedding. Florals are such a big expense so it was important to me to spend my dollars with local businesses. As a small, local, woman/wife/mom-owned business, Twin Blooms was exactly the vendor I wanted to support, and I'm so glad I did. My guests raved about the florals, and I was proud to share Marissa's information and recommend her highly. I'm thrilled with the value and quality of service Twin Blooms provided for our special day.

Specializing in luxury weddings and sophisticated corporate events, our approach combines artistry, precision, and a passion for storytelling. Working with Chris Hodge at Kevin Lear on Main was one of the best parts of our wedding planning process. From our very first meeting, I felt heard. Chris made sure he understood my vision and respected every non-negotiable I had, but he also brought his incredible talent and creativity to the table. I trusted him completely and I’m so glad I did. I have to say, my bouquet was one of the highlights of the entire day. We had talked about adding greenery to help it stand out against my dress, but in the end, we kept it all white and it was perfect. Elegant, soft, and exactly what I didn’t even know I needed. I’m absolutely in love with how it turned out. Chris was not only talented, he was genuinely excited for me throughout the process. That joy, paired with his artistry and care, made every floral element unforgettable. From the bouquets to the arrangements, it was all breathtaking. Just look at the photos! If you’re thinking of working with Chris, do it. He made my day more beautiful than I ever imagined.

She created a corsage and a beautiful complimentary large welcome table arrangement. I received so many compliments on the flowers! Everyone wanted to take an arrangement home. I really enjoyed working with Elizabeth. She was kind, punctual and her prices were reasonable. Awarded Best of Zola
The process of using something borrowed blooms was so easy. I loved that the flowers could be reused and that I wasn't going to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would just be thrown away! They included the return label in the box with the flowers they shipped out, which was great because we did not have a printer at our destination wedding. All of our flowers were fake because I was also worried about the heat wilting our flowers. I only rented bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and a dog collar- but I wish I had rented my centerpieces as well! Amazing experience with SBB all around!

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Exceptional service. Flowers don't always travel well. The flowers I ordered for my daughter's wedding bouquet and the grooms boutonniere. They arrived in less than ideal condition I contacted customer service and Alexa was incredibly helpful. She not only sent new flowers overnight but was truly concerned that they now arrived in great condition. The new flowers were gorgeous and perfect. I will be buying all my flowers from Flower Moxie. Thank you Alexa.

The Faux Bouquets was a fantastic florist to work with for our wedding. They had a straightforward, welcoming, and responsive communication style that made the entire process easy and stress-free. Their floral designs were elegant, affordable, and fully customizable to our preferences. They created a beautiful customized bouquet for my wife's bridal flowers and an elegant arch for our wedding ceremony. They even made last-minute adjustments to ensure we had the best possible designs. All of this was provided at an amazing price, and they even gave us a discount for being a local wedding. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Awarded Best of Zola
Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go!

Pickup was a breeze and all of the flowers were so gosh darn gorgeous. I am so, so happy that we were able to have in-season marigolds and dahlias and all sorts of blooms to match our mountainous, fall backdrop. Because of our small, casual wedding I was able to spend the morning putting together bud vases and bouquets with my loved ones the morning of our celebration and it was such a lovely activity to do - and kept my nervous hands busy!

Perfect Stems Floral and Gift Shop
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
  • Serves Norman, NC

Women-owned and operated, Perfect Stems is the sister company of Perfection Bridal. With 9 years wedding experience and 5 years in the flower world, Perfect Stems is ready to take your floral vision to another level! We specialize in full floral install, from hanging greenery to hanging arrangements.

Booking Leah at Perfect Stems was genuinely one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. We were referred to her by her twin sister Liz who was our wedding planner (Perfection Bridal)— and that alone already made us feel so confident. Finding out that Leah is also a wedding planner herself made us feel beyond taken care of. It truly felt like we had TWO planners looking out for us, and that level of care and coordination is something I'm forever grateful we had. I went into the floral process not fully knowing how to describe what I wanted, but Leah took my scattered ideas and turned them into something more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Her knowledge of florals and design is unmatched — she truly knows her craft inside and out. What meant the most to us was how genuinely passionate Leah was about our wedding. We always felt like her #1 priority. She cared about every little detail and treated our day like it was just as important to her as it was to us. We got married young (22 and 23) and we didn’t have a big budget for florals, but Leah worked with us so graciously. She was affordable, transparent, and incredibly creative in helping us maximize what we could do within our budget. She never made us feel small for our numbers — instead, she made us feel celebrated and supported. And the FLOWERS. Oh my gosh. We received SO many compliments on our florals throughout the entire wedding day. They were stunning, elegant, and truly felt like a dream come to life. My bouquet was better than any inspo I've ever seen on Pinterest. If you’re considering booking Perfect Stems - DO IT! Leah is talented, kind, professional, and so passionate about what she does. We would choose her again and again a thousand times. Thank you Leah!!!

I had never seen a ceremony arch so perfect. Gayle took into consideration how tall my husband was and made sure to have the florals larger than him so our ceremony arch was a wow factor over 8 feet tall! The attention to detail was important to us and Gayle exceeded all expectations. My family, friends and bridal party couldn't stop complimenting how pretty they were. J+M Event Co
Rating: 4.8 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Norman, NC

Founded by Jordan Taylor and MKayla Summerlin,J+M Event Co. is a team of experienced creatives dedicated to crafting weddings and events that are elevated, thoughtful, and flawlessly executed. From planning to design, every element is curated to align with your vision and style. Based in Charlotte, NC, we serve couples throughout North and South Carolina, as well as destination weddings worldwide.

I connected with J&M about 4-5 months out from the wedding through my wedding coordinator. They had some pics of past work, not much that was really my style, so I was nervous about that but they assured me they could customize anything to my taste. Since they didn’t have what I was looking for they said they would order what I wanted. The problem started when to secure my date they required I sign a contract for a specific number/type of center pieces (charging a set price/centerpiece) before I had my venue booked. I ended up needing to change the numbers we had agreed on when I finally booked my venue because we had estimated for the contract since I didn’t know how many of each table size/shape the venue would have. J &M did not want to let me change the numbers on the contract (which we had both agreed at the time we came up with them were only estimates) and only did so once my wedding coordinator contacted them about it. They also were not able to give me any pictures of what my center pieces would look like at any point before the wedding which was a little scary as a bride who likes to have everything planned out well ahead of time. The centerpieces and decorations ended up looking great the day of the wedding, but the whole process was more stressful than I would have preferred. Their communication was mainly through email and often they would not reply for over 24 hours, which was frustrating if we needed to have a 2-4 email exchange about something because it could take days to resolve a simple question. Their pricing is very competitive in the market and the work they did ended up looking amazing, but overall working with them added a lot of stress to my planning process. They also did my bouquets and decorated the arch I provided and those two aspects came out looking wonderful as well. I would recommend them if you are super chill and don’t care to be involved in any details and have your venue booked by the time you contact them.
