Petals by The Oak Ridge Homestead provides memorable, custom event florals for intimate weddings, elopements, and celebrations! I, Elizabeth Smith, co-own The Oak Ridge Homestead with my husband, Andrew. We bring a unique, romantic touch to floral design while thoughtfully working with you to fulfill your vision for the day. We accommodate both the hands-off and do-it-yourself brides, offering both à la carte florals and full service packages. Thank you for considering us to be part of your special moments. We own and operate a small flower farm in Stanly County and use our own farm-grown flowers for events whenever they are in season! We prioritize using other locally-grown flowers as well in addition to luxury, unique flowers we bring in to create truly unforgettable arrangements.

    THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!

    Elizabeth from Petals was the absolute best to work with!!! I cannot recommend her and her services enough. I’d give 10 stars if I could! As a 2025 bride, I wanted to keep my budget but I still wanted real flowers. I sat down with her and told her my scattered thoughts and showed her some random inspo pics from Pinterest; she took all of those ideas and put them together even better than I could have ever imagined. Months later, I still look back at my wedding photos and drool over how pretty my flowers turned out. All because of Elizabeth! The arbor pieces, bouquets, corsages/boutineers, and flowers for the tables were all just stunning. I’m so glad I chose this company for my wedding day, and I can’t wait to use them again in the future for other events.

    Stunning!!

    Elizabeth from the Petals by Oak Ridge Homestead was fantastic to work with! She was very professional and knowledgeable. She truly brought my vision to life and I knew that I didn’t have anything to worry about. The flowers were truly stunning!! I would recommend her over and over again!

    Wonderful experience with Elizabeth at Petals

    I recently hosted a large baby shower. Elizabeth was wonderful to work with! She was great to help me focus on a look and style for the party. We decided on several low table arrangements full of white hydrangeas, pink roses, gorgeous white dahlias and other pink flowers too. She created a corsage and a beautiful complimentary large welcome table arrangement. I received so many compliments on the flowers! Everyone wanted to take an arrangement home. I really enjoyed working with Elizabeth. She was kind, punctual and her prices were reasonable. I have since recommended her work to several friends and every one of them has been very glad they chose Elizabeth. I will definitely continue giving Elizabeth and Petals my business!

We do not currently have a minimum spend for weddings.
Consultations last approximately 30 minutes to an hour. While we recommend a phone call, we can gather information from you via email or text if needed. The more details you can give us about your vision for the day, style, budget, and inspiration you have for your wedding flowers, the better! However, we understand that if you are early in the planning process you may need our help nailing down your preferences and style. After your consultation, we will draw up a custom proposal with a mood board included, with prices and email it to you for consideration.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 12 months before their big day. We do recommend having a general idea about your budget for flowers before reaching out.
We do not currently offer rentals outside of the mechanics used (vases, compotes, saddles, etc.) for floral design.
Yes! We can provide one mockup that includes a table centerpiece and bridal bouquet, but it may not be feasible to include the exact flowers that will be used on the big day depending on the season. We prefer to create this between 30 and 60 days before the wedding to take into account seasonal flowers and time to make adjustments. Please note that mockups are NOT complimentary and are priced the same as day of floral arrangements.
No, because all of our work is custom and comprised of flowers chosen specifically to make your vision come to life, the price of our work varies based the designs formulated just for you. Flowers chosen based on your style and budget greatly affect the price given. We are happy to work with you to make sure we stay within your desired budget.
