“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“DJ Steven and Stumptown were excellent! DJ Steven, while being a Tier 2 DJ, was more like a Tier 10! We really wanted a fun and populated dancefloor at our wedding and DJ Steven delivered! He was great at reading the crowd and playing songs that got everyone on their feet. He also surprised us by bringing a bubble gun, lights, and a 360 cam. What was most spectacular was that DJ Steven also created a special mix for our first dance so that we could do a fun choreographed dance to it. Our guests absolutely loved it, and we couldn’t be more thankful to Steven for making it happen. He helped us select songs for all phases of the wedding and was able to really set the mood throughout the entire event. We received numerous compliments from guests about how the wedding was so upbeat and had an awesome party atmosphere; DJ Steven was a large part of that! Stumptown and DJ Steven were very organized and all wedding details were easy to communicate via their portal. We asked a lot from them, and they definitely delivered an amazing event. “I manage Mount Hood Farm’s wedding program and see a lot of DJs. Dominic is in a different league. Setup was early and clean (no tripping hazards, cables taped like artwork), volume levels were perfect for our historic space (no complaints from the neighbors – a miracle), and he coordinated seamlessly with our staff without ever needing to be managed. The passion he has for what he does radiates and I can’t wait to work with him again. Guests stayed until the absolute last possible second, which says everything. With no coordinator and last minute changes before and on the day of our wedding, Trecee remained professional, flexible, and fun as our DJ and MC! He followed our song cue list wonderfully, and helped us remix our first dance songs just how we planned. He made announcements we had set on the schedule as well as additional ones requested. He also made funny comments, which totally added to the vibes. His music choices were just what we were looking for, and even with a request by my family to switch to slower songs, he did it seamlessly; Fun, hyped songs for the younger crowd and romantic songs for the elders. He arrived about 45 minutes before his contract hours started to set up and even gave us (bridal party) warnings and updates on getting behind or on track of schedule! (Which is very helpful as, again, we didn’t have a coordinator.) Overall, he is a great DJ & MC, and my now husband and I would highly recommend his services! “When planning our reception we knew we wanted to add something a little special and Taylor with his Sax was the perfect addition! First of all, he was incredibly communicative and easy to work with, super professional. We had also hired a separate DJ and had a quick chat a week before the wedding to discuss a few of our ‘must play’ songs. Taylor was excited and even willing to learn one that he hadn’t known before hand. We hired him to play some soft jazz and pop during our cocktail hour and then for our reception with our DJ. He absolutely killed it. During the reception he was right there on the dance floor with everyone and our guests were having the best time. Even at our goodbye brunch the day after, multiple guests kept complimenting on what an amazing job he did. Needless to say I highly recommend Taylor for your wedding!!”
