The initial Livingston, New Jersey-based residence was built in the late 1800s by famed architect Stanford White, who was responsible for designing the Tiffany building on Fifth Avenue, the original Madison Square Garden complex among other landmark structures. Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston.
