“My husband and I had truly had the wedding of our dreams at The Madison Hotel! From visiting the venue (which was my husband’s first choice) all the way to our special day, we received great customer service and guidance. Joseph Zimmerman was our sales associate, he gave us a great tour of the venue and kept us on track with deadlines. Having our guests be able to stay at the hotel was a great perk since my husband had a lot of family flying in. What sold us was the breathtaking Conservatory where we had our ceremony. Man, what a beautiful space! Our guests raved about cocktail hour and all of the food options that were available. Having our reception in the Grand Ballroom was perfect because we had plenty of room to dance! Jose Bonilla was our Maitre’D for the evening, and he provided constant attentiveness and hospitality from ceremony to reception! Even our getting ready suites had mirrors and chairs in our wedding colors. I truly appreciated the attention to detail! We would recommend the Madison Hotel to anyone looking to have a wedding without the stress of finding so many additional vendors. The Catering options are plentiful, the room blocking process is super easy and the beautiful spaces speak for themselves and don’t need much additional decorations (save on those florals!!) Thank you so much to the team at Madison Hotel for making our special day one to remember!! The Richmonds”

“As a wedding officiant, I've had the pleasure of working with many venues, but The Olde Mille Inn truly stands out as an iconic, singular celebration site. From the moment you step into the inn itself or its historic restaurant, "The Grain House", (recently voted one of the most romantic restaurants in NJ!), you feel the warmth and hospitality they're famous for! There are so many pretty photo backdrops in every season! Having a beautiful, dog-friendly hotel on site so the wedding parties and family can gather and celebrate together is another amazing bonus that helps the day run seamlessly! Their people are just phenomenal, from their planning staff to the day-of coordination. They go above and beyond to ensure every detail is perfect, allowing couples to truly relax and enjoy their wedding celebration. Literally, nothing is left up to chance! For couples seeking a truly personalized ceremony and reception, I can't recommend the Olde Mill highly enough. “We could not be happier with our decision to have our wedding (and rehearsal dinner) at Grain House at The Olde Mill Inn! Our experience started with a venue tour with Lindsay who was so lovely and helpful in answering all of our questions. She continued to help us with questions about planning throughout the year and a half since we booked the venue. At the wedding tasting night, we felt so special and pampered, and met all of the great Maitre D’s! We were so grateful to be assigned David as our Maitre D’. We had a meeting with him to finalize our menu and felt so taken care of by him! He was absolutely amazing in helping us through the last few months of wedding preparation, and was there for us on the day of our rehearsal & our entire wedding day, making sure everything went perfectly. The entire serving staff was also so friendly and professional. Besides the INCREDIBLE people who made our day so seamless and special, the venue itself is gorgeous and unique. I can not recommend this wedding venue enough. We loved our Grain House wedding and will cherish our special day and the staff who made it that way forever. Thank you David, Lindsay, and everyone at Grain House!”

“We had our wedding on 6-6-26 at Magnolia and I can say it was an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable experience. Firstly, the venue is gorgeous. The wedding space overlooks the confluence of two streams so you hear the sound of babbling water all throughout the resort and it feels so unique and magical to do your vows in such a wonderful display of nature. Second, I must say that the staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect and our guests feel at home. Special shout out to Angela at the front desk who was so accommodating and friendly and all the service staff was kind and helpful. Like any Poconos day the weather can turn on a dime and it did for us going from clear to torrential downpour for cocktail hour but the staff pivoted perfectly and the pavilion kept everyone dry and happy. The rain did lead to a spectacular sunset and while I can't say Magnolia did it I can say that the resort was so beautiful it lead to some of the most spectacular pictures of the night and the resort makes an amazing backdrop. Also the food was incredible, we did both our rehearsal and reception and both nights everything was cooked perfectly (SO to Chef Tom). Finally I need to talk about their wedding coordinator Cheyenne. She goes above and beyond what I was expecting and is just the nicest person. We worked with her for almost 2 years and she always started every call catching up and she truly got to know us personally as we got to know her. Her vendor recommendations were fantastic and on the weekend of the wedding she was there to answer any question and solve any problem. She did this while 6 months pregnant by the way so she's able to handle anything no matter the situation. I can go on and on about how amazing this place is and say that it truly is a gem of venue in the Poconos and made our wedding magical.”

“We had our wedding at Hotel Du Village in October of 2024 and stayed two nights at the on-site hotel. I cannot begin to explain how incredibly run this entire venue is. From the moment we arrived, every staff member went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready for our wedding day. Heather initially gave us the tour of the venue in Feb 2022 and was assigned as our coordinator, and I will always be so grateful for my time planning with her. From the moment we booked, she always answered any email in a timely manner, no matter how many questions were asked :). Heather and her assistant were extremely helpful during the day of our wedding as well. Agnes, our bridal attendant was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond and is always thinking 2 steps ahead of you to ensure the wedding day continues to go smoothly. Above all, all of our guests RAVED about the cocktail hour and entree food. The flow of the Chateau style wedding was absolutely incredible. I will always be so grateful that we chose HDV as our wedding venue!”

We originally had our wedding set for 4.3.21 but with COVID restrictions for guest capacity, they were extremely accommodating. We were able to choose our new date 4.9.22 seamlessly! The planning was stress free. Michele and Kathi were extremely responsive to all of my questions! Not only was everything leading up to the wedding great, our wedding day was truly perfect. Our bartender, Alex, was personable and connected with all of our guests! The entire staff that night were so nice and professional! Food was amazing! “Choosing Chauncey Hotel as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process. The venue is a hidden gem located in Princeton, NJ. It is nestled behind main roads, not far from the downtown but feels very secluded when onsite. We have many out of town relatives so being able to stay at the hotel and have everything onsite was very convenient and comfortable. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast in the morning which was a nice perk and convenient spot for everyone to gather. There is also a bar in the lobby which was the perfect space for reconnecting the night before our wedding and for our after party. The Laurie House is a charming historic home that offers a hotel-style stay. It was the perfect space for us and our bridal party to get ready, with a large space for hair/makeup, "getting ready" photos, and a boardroom for signing our marriage license after the ceremony. The surrounding property is beautiful and offered many areas for photos surrounded by trees and other natural scenery. The staff at Chauncey was kind, courteous, and attentive to our needs all weekend. Becki in particular went above and beyond as a wedding coordinator. She made herself available to meet in person and virtually before our wedding. Every interaction with Becki made us feel more ready and prepared for our big day! In the days leading up to the wedding, we were able to drop off decor for her ahead of time and she also led our rehearsal! Becki took the time to check in with us the day-of and looked after our family and bridal party to make sure they had everything they needed. Making sure we had our cues before walking down the aisle was so helpful. Our day would not have gone as smoothly as it did without her!”

The Standard, East Village

Located off Cooper Square in one of New York’s most vibrant, artistic neighborhoods, The Standard, East Village is cozy, charming, and eccentric in equal measure—very much in the spirit of its surroundings. You enter the 21-story tower through an original tenement-style building before ascending to unparalleled views of Manhattan from the hotel's crowned jewel, The Penthouse. There’s a quiet, calm garden tucked away at street level that in the warmer months is filled with lush topiaries and floral arrangements, and in the cold season transforms into a magical winter wonderland. On the second floor, The Overlook is a cozy room perfect for a rehearsal dinner or cocktails, connected to The Perch which overlooks The Garden. Downstairs, there's Narcissa restaurant, which boasts its own private terrace, the street-side Café Standard, and NO BAR, a highly inclusive new wave gay bar with custom artwork and a disco ball.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Exudes style
  • Has an intimate feel for a small guest list
  • Private area for the wedding party

Venue considerations

  • Lighting and sound are not included
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Better for more intimiate events
“Having never been privy to what goes into a wedding reception, I was in the dark about a lot. So, I had difficulty understanding what to choose and how much our choices would cost. If it wasn’t for the close proximity to the church, I may have chosen a different venue for our reception. The food and beverage was the biggest expense and the biggest source of confusion. The real disappointment of the F&B was the limited amount of food. The shrimp appetizer was good. However, there was so little, if you didn’t grab some, it was gone. Of the three entrees to choose from, the only one that was any good was the fish and the portion was less than one would reasonably expect for an entree. The chicken was dry and hard, a huge disappointment. The lemon tart dessert was good. The space itself is very nice. Fortunately, it was just the right size for our reception.”

“Having a Celebration of Life was definitely more focused on the positives of a sad occasion but it's nonetheless stressful. You still have all of the responsibilities of the hostess and getting your relatives there on time and making decisions prior to the event. I can't thank the staff at the Benjamin enough for guiding me through the process and for handling everything when we got there. I really didn't feel like I had much to handle when we got there. We were able to decorate the way we wanted to and were provided with a tv to run a slide show. One more thing...the food was great!”

“Despite the change of hospitality groups, the team at Ace Hotel Brooklyn was amazing to work with for our wedding. They offer an all-inclusive package that, at the time of our wedding, included the entire second floor for the day of our event, linens for tables, catering, and staffing for the entire day. We were also able to book the Ace Suite and have a hotel block for a discounted rate for our guests. The catering team was amazing and was very accommodating for different dietary restrictions that I, some guests, and vendors each had. We can’t thank Tricia, Susannah, and Paul enough for their helping us bring everything together! Photographer: Kara McCurdy”

“We had a fantastic experience with Ravel. Everyone was exceptionally communicative and accommodating throughout the process and on the day of, especially our coordinator Eman. She stood out as a queen of logistics and made me feel like the planning process was always under control. The bridal assistant, Jade, was fantastic to have nearby on the day of, and Joe, who handled setup, was also a standout. Our guests raved about the food and the view. Overall, the aesthetic of the venue was an incredibly backdrop to our photos, and it really set the tone we were hoping for. Our reception was in the penthouse, and the glittering skyline really made the party feel sophisticated and chic, and unlike any other wedding I’ve been to. We ended up with 150 guests, and the room felt full in a lively way without ever being overcrowded. We had some concerns about the hotel after reading reviews, and those concerns were promptly alleviated. They even upgraded our room to the top suite, which was the perfect size for 9 women to get ready on the day of. Would definitely recommend this venue, especially a reception in the penthouse if it fits your guest count.”
