Melody Lane Films was found by Joel Duncan, an experienced Director of Photography in TV and over 3 years of Wedding Cinematography Experience. Our passion to create high-end cinematic wedding films to get all of your friends talking and sharing your story. Your wedding story will leave you with the memories of the best day of your life to watch over and over again.

Our main purpose is to join the family! All of our couples have a voice and creativity, our main proponent to their future video. We will work and study couples until we know just what they want to remember their big day with.

I am very passionate with my work and strive to capture those special moments that may have been missed. I work with a team who I trust in providing the same passion as I do. When I started this small business I had a vision I wanted to share with others, to demonstrate what I have learned through this journey- that being said, my goal with this project is to give back to my community and show people the beauty of photography and film by capturing love through a camera.

I was born and raised in SoCal, which explains my unusual appreciation for the ocean, tacos, and empty highways. When I'm not shooting weddings, you'll find me on my motorcycle or online trying to find flights to places I haven't been (I even have a travel blog that I'm very bad at updating).

Seafarer Films was established in 2017, but Nick and Christian have been homies since junior high. Whether it was filming each other surfing as kids or making films about rock climbing, a camera was always at hand. Capturing stories has always been a passion they have both shared and now they want to tell yours.

Kristen Kiraly is an award-winning documentary filmmaker turned wedding and brand cinematographer. her passion for telling authentic and candid stories is evident in all of her work, whether is be the timeless wedding films she captures for her brides and grooms or the way she tells engaging stories to highlight a brand’s mission. Kristen earned a master’s degree in documentary journalism from NYU and a bachelor’s from Colgate University. As a professional filmmaker, she has traveled extensively helping to produce over thirty documentaries and has been awarded the world’s most prestigious recognition for video journalism, the Alfred I. duPont award. Kristen now takes the same unobtrusive and natural approach in capturing the love and emotion, in all of the little and big moments, on her couples’ wedding day.

I've been obsessed with filmmaking since I was a little guy. I got my start in wedding videography back in high school and have thoroughly enjoyed working with couples ever since. It is very important for us to not only provide stellar service but to keep your day as light and fun as possible! To us, wedding films aren't just about documenting a day. Every wedding carries a precious story waiting to be told.

We love your style!! Although it’s super nice to hear, I respect that style is an ever-changing thing that needs inspiration and fresh ideas. I LOVE to capture those “unaware” behind-the-scenes moments that give your film added emotional depth, and love using slow motion. I bring a very high-end cinematic look to every wedding story and I always get excited when I first see the footage from a wedding shoot because there is always so much footage that is insanely gorgeous! Putting these parts and pieces together is where the magic begins. I do all of my own editing because the FILMING part loves to tango with the EDITING part.
