Video Stories by Susan Morrissey creates cinematic, story-driven wedding films in Los Angeles. Founded by casting producer–turned–wedding videographer Susan Morrissey, with storytelling experience from shows including Bar Rescue and Naked and Afraid, Susan works alongside Ashley, her associate shooter, and is known for being professional, easygoing, and genuinely fun to work with—so couples can relax and enjoy their wedding day.

We are fun, energetic women who show up with our sleeves rolled up, inspired by our couples and ready to capture each wedding with heart and intention. Our approach is authentic, real, and genuinely enjoyable. Every film is edited personally by Susan—never outsourced. She is a passionate editor who carefully curates the best moments with precise timing and pacing, so there’s never a dull moment. Each wedding film is fully customized, using cinema-quality cameras and state-of-the-art audio, making every story as unique as the couple it represents.

A dream team
Newly weds here. To be truthful, I very rarely give 5 stars on anything but Susan and Ashley deserve this. Throughout the process of looking for and choosing a videographer, Susan was so personable, patient and understanding. It didn’t feel like a sales pitch or a business transaction, it was genuine, just getting to know each other and what we were looking for. We did a short movie to document our relationship and engagement, going back to where we met, highlighting our interests and story which was so much fun. Then, for the wedding, they went above and beyond even purchasing a vintage camera, and they created the most beautiful highlight movie with additional footage of key moments we wanted. Being an artistic [and perfectionistic but indecisive] person myself, I am very particular and I know that I asked a lot of them. I just hope I didn’t scare them away because we would definitely work with them again on any video project they want to be a part of. We will cherish our wedding footage forever thanks to you!
