Owner, Lead videographer

We love getting to know our couples, and being able to share in their adventures with them. We know you only get married once and how important your big day is. That's why we vow to be there from that first brush of make up until the dancing dies down. Because catching every second of your big day isn't just our job, it's our passion.

Our team has filmed hundreds of weddings over the last 12 years (there are currently over 1,000 of them on our YouTube page.) We are easy going, we work really seamlessly with photographers and we are a prefered vendor for several venues across Southern Ca.

    I was recommended Light Up Video by a friend who used them and they did not disappoint! Nelson was very professional, on-time, and had great communication before, during, and after the wedding. The audio and visuals look great, everything is very clean, and overall super happy with the final video! Definitely recommend them for wedding videos :)

    Magic moments!

    My husband and I were so pleased with our wedding videographer, Light Up Video. Their communication throughout the planning process was prompt, patient, chill, and approachable. On the big day, they showed up right on time ready to go. They were professional and calm, with a positive demeanor that made us feel totally comfortable being on camera. Though they managed to blend into the background, they somehow captured magical moments we didn't even realize were happening. From getting ready in the morning to our first dance at the reception, Light Up Video caught all the special memories with an artistic eye. We were so thrilled with the professional creative, personal touch Light Up Video brought. We also loved that they provide the raw footage as well as their edit. Their excellent work was well worth the investment for precious wedding memories we'll cherish forever. Thanks so much guys!!!

After we have a signed contract we will collect a $450 or $650 deposit (depending which package you book) and that will go towards the final balance.
We charge travel feels if the location is more than 60 miles from us or if there are 3 or more total locations. This covers gas, wear and tear on our cars, and extra time spent packing and unpacking gear.
Yes! We deliver the edit and raw footage on a hard drive
Definitely! While we’re based in Los Angeles, CA we’re available for destination weddings worldwide. Additional fees to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations required.
Yes! We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.
