“I’ll start with we are the most last minute couple that ever lived. Cesar made what I thought would be the hardest thing so easy! Even when we had no idea what songs we wanted he asked for a vibe and executed beyond our wildest dreams. Let me just say, he knows all the right questions to figure out what you need, even when you didn’t know you needed it, and doesn’t make you feel bad when you text him at 10 pm saying you forgot to add a song. Haha. We had a little bit of everything when it comes to music (romantic ceremony, elevated jazz cocktail hour, and a wild Hispanic/English reception) and he melted it together seamlessly. “Jonathon was awesome from day one. A very laid-back and chill energy made planning with him feel non-anxious. He made us feel like he had everything under control and that he knew when to accommodate us and when he could use his knowledge to make sure everyone had a great time. In the pre-ceremony, he mixed it up between some pre-selected songs I chose and played some live. I am a musician, so many of our family and friends that were in attendance are all musicians and singers. They all immediately were drawn to his smooth voice and incredible playing. The ceremony went great and had minimal to no tech issues, the sound was clear, he helped us incorporate our musician friends to play a song during the ceremony. He played our First Dance song live, and absolutely knocked it out of the park! We did a small choreographed dance to Love Like This by Ben Rector. His voice was perfect, and I was able to send him an edited version of the song that matched with our dance. He played it flawlessly and the moment was special for my wife and I, and for our guests. During the dinner, he played an acoustic set consisting of covers of 90s-2000s R&B songs, which were a huge hit with us and our guests. He played with a loop pedal and was able to simulate a full band with just his guitar and voice! He had some moving and grooving, singing along during dinner, while others were still able to hold a conversation without distraction. I gave him many songs to include in the dance portion of the night. And while he included MANY of my suggestions, he also knew when to throw in some crowd favorites to keep the party going. The dance floor was PACKED all night, the transitions between each song where seamless, and it became a fun game for my and my friends to try and guess what song he was cueing up next! My wife and I loved every musical moment of the evening, and it was exactly what we dreamed of for that day. All of our guests loved the music, and were so impressed not just with his professionalism and on stage banter with the crowd, but his musicality and rich voice. I have worked as a wedding musician for a few years, and as a gigging musician and singer for much longer. I have always feared that I would spend my wedding day judging the Wedding Band/DJ because of my high standards for live music. Jonathan blew every single one of those expectations out of the water, and he was such a breath of fresh air during a stressful period of wedding planning. I cannot recommend Jonathan Blake Salazar any more for your wedding. He is a dream to work with, and will do an incredible job performing, Emceeing, and DJing your special day!”

“We hired Dj MikeB for our wedding in North County San Diego. We were so grateful that he and his assistant, Joanne traveled to our wedding and helped us with having the best day ever! He was responsive from the start when I first inquired about his services. What stuck out to us was his level of professionalism including his website and having his packages clearly listed out, unlike other DJs we were looking into. Andrew also took the time to meet with my husband and I a week before our wedding and go through the whole music set he put together. He is very personable and team bride and groom! Countless times Andrew came up to my husband and I and asked us if we needed anything. My guests are still talking about Andrew and where we can use him next . To make it easy as well he has a very user friendly portal to upload your Spotify list, make payments and do all music questionnaire . This was very efficient . Can’t recommend enough! “I would go as far to say my now husband and I have different music taste. We love hardcore music, but naturally, it wasn't entirely appropriate for our wedding reception. HOWEVER, working with Rob G was an absolute dream, and we were able to incorporate so many different styles of music into our night that everyone was able to have an amazing time. He seamlessly blended from our favorite hardcore bands like Every Time I Die all the way to Bad Bunny, and was even able to throw in a song created by one of our guests. He incorporated so many genres of music and was such an insanely positive energy of the evening. We had so many guests just flabbergasted at how awesome our DJ was, and we are now in process of looking for an excuse to hire him again. Cannot recommend Rob G from Second Song enough!!!!”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs!
