Bloom and Grow Floral Design

5.0

  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Millvale, PA

As a life-long flower fanatic and nature enthusiast, a career in the floral industry always sounded like a dream job to me. That dream bloomed into a reality in 2018, when I left my bland corporate job to pursue a full-time career as a floral designer. Since then, I've been knee-deep in flowers, and I would not have it any other way! Bloom and Grow is the physical manifestation of my love for all things floral. Thank you for being here!!

Awarded Best of Zola
Lily did an AMAZING job with my flowers. I gave her a color palate and style and she did the rest. I was so happy with my bouquets and floral arch. We had several meetings to discuss details, prices, and day of installation. She even met me in person to pick up my decor! I would highly recommend her.

Bramble & Blossom

5.0

  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Millvale, PA

Hey, Pittsburgh lovebirds! Bramble & Blossom is your dream team for wedding florals that are as unique & eco-friendly as you are. We're obsessed with local, seasonal blooms, and nothing matters more to us than a design that's personal and authentic! Jessica (our fearless flower leader) has over a decade of experience crafting unforgettable arrangements and helping couples design their dream wedding aesthetic. Beginning with our free consultations and one-of-a-kind style boards, we can create something special that reflects your love story. ✨ Let's collaborate and make your wedding truly magical.

Jessica and her team truly made my wedding magical. Sustainability and ethical sourcing were a priority for us and Jessica provided all US grown flowers. She even sourced vegetables from local farmers to use in the tablescapes that we and our guests took home and has meals made from them for the next couple of weeks! But the real magic was the colors she picked out. I wanted a very colorful, jewel toned world at my wedding and Jessica found flowers that both matched that aesthetic and complimented the whole medieval vibe of the theme. Her team also showed amazing flexibility when our ceremony location was changed at the last minute due to rain. Instead of decorating an archway they were decorating a completely different space with pillars, but they made it work and everything was ready on time. I’ve loved Jessica’s work so much that I’ve gone on to order flowers for other occasions. She did the flowers for my daughter’s first birthday which was Enchanted Forest themed and most recently my husband picked up a Valentine’s Day arrangement from her shop. All of the flowers and arrangements have been top quality and beyond beautiful. Jessica is easy to work with, friendly, and knowledgeable. You really can’t go wrong with Bramble and Blossom.

Holly Hanna Floral

5.0

  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Millvale, PA

Hi, Holly here! Floral design is simply in my nature. I’ve been sharing my passion for flowers with my hometown of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas since 2016, and have created designs for countless weddings, special events, and celebrations. Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve always felt the most at home outside, in nature, around all the flowers. They bring so much joy and beauty to our everyday moments, and are the living furnishings that frame some of life’s most important celebrations. My world of floral creation is yours to explore, to have at the center of your wedding day design, and to hold close for each anticipated moment.

When I started my wedding planning process I knew I wanted my florals to be a main decorative part of my wedding. I love flowers, I love floral displays. After reaching out and talking to Holly I was sold. We had a phone call meeting, and I could've spoken to her for an hour as a friend. I bounced all my ideas off of her, even the crazy ones, and she worked along perfectly with it and made it into something so beautiful. I wanted a large display on the willow tree I was getting married in front of, and when I say she went above and beyond doing so, I. WAS. BLOWN. AWAY. (pictured below). Utter perfection. I trusted her wholeheartedly and was amazed out with the outcome. The only way I can describe the perfection is to actually show you. Her work speaks her itself. Aside from her beautiful work, I never once felt neglected in the planning process. Holly was always in touch, always ready to answer questions, and always the sweetest. I am forever thankful she got to play such a big part in my day.

The team at Honey Bunch Bouquets understood the vision for my florals from the first email, and I knew they would make my wedding beautiful. They were flexible the entire process with my quote and what exactly I was getting right up until the wedding, and were very accommodating with my budget (which I ended up expanding because the flowers were just too perfect). Their team delivered everything the morning of the wedding, hung the arch piece, and I am still getting compliments on how beautiful the flowers were. I cannot recommend Valerie and her team enough, I am beyond satisfied.

Sugar Flowers and Leaves Floral Design

5.0

  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Millvale, PA

Gwen is the founder and head floral designer. She developed a love for flowers through family gardening and carried with her her whole life. With a history working for over 10 years as an event and meeting planner in the non-profit world Gwen learned how to work with Pittsburgh vendors and source locally. In this latest chapter of her life she’s spent countless hours attending workshops, attending lectures, reading floral books, and honing her design skills always looking to learn new things. Gwen supplements her designs year round with flowers and greens that she grows from her own garden like peony, dahlia, and hydrangea.

Sugar Flowers and Leaves Floral Design was a standout vendor for our wedding. From the start, Gwen and her team provided prompt, detailed responses that showed their expertise and passion for their craft. Their proposal captured our vision perfectly, and the final floral design executed on the wedding day was nothing short of amazing. Gwen and her team were able to immediately understand the look and feel we wanted and then brought it to life in innovative and breathtaking ways. All of our guests were in awe of the beautiful, one-of-a-kind floral arrangements that truly made the day magical. Congratulations to all the beautiful brides! These have been trying times to say the least. Life still goes on and like you, I was planning a wedding in the midst of it all. Throughout my process of trying to find vendors and all the things that come with every bride-to-be's well deserved special day, I was shocked at the cost of everything. I am a huge DIY fan if its doable. I do know, however, that not everyone is in a position to go that route so I started my own company dedicated to providing custom, high quality bouquets and other floral and misc wedding decor. No bride should have to sacrifice beautiful flowers on their big day.

Absolutely amazing! They showed up early and decorated the entire venue, including the ceremony aisle and all the details in between. I couldn’t have asked for a better florist!!

If you are looking for florals for your wedding or any occasion this is THE place and Tara is THE florist. She is the owner of Violet Street and it’s no wonder that her business is such a success. She quite literally designed these florals for our wedding from the ground up. I had no idea where to start and she let her amazing ideas flow. We met and she so easily was able to suggest the perfect look. It felt like Tara knew what I wanted before I even did and man did she deliver! It was a flawless experience from start to finish. We were going for burgundy & navy wedding colors. There was a beautiful burgundy dahlia is asked about for my bridal bouquet and she wasn’t sure if she could get it around my wedding date. It wasn’t that big of a deal, but what did she do?! She surprised me and she freaking grew them herself!! My mind was blown. The level of service and commitment she has is unmatched. I could sing her praises all day just please trust me on this, you want, no you NEED Tara and Violet Street Florist for any and all of your floral arrangements!! We buy her flowers regularly and I’m so so soooo thankful she helped create such a magical wedding for us. We will never go anywhere else because we feel like it doesn’t get better than her. Woodland Floral Design Co.

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Misha is incredible! Wedding florals can be so daunting, but from our first Zoom meeting, all of my worries were gone. It was clear Misha genuinely enjoys making a personal connection with her clients. She checked in periodically and was available whenever we had questions. I knew Misha was going to create something beautiful, but beautiful is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Our wedding florals were stunning. I told Misha I wanted bright and fun, but that was really it. As a result of our conversations, I knew I could trust her vision and creativity. She blew us away! As soon as I saw them, my jaw dropped. She created 2 floral columns for the ceremony space and lined the aisle with the most magnificent florals. And when I say florals, I mean florals. Her designs are teeming with blooms! Everything down to the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages was full of substance. She also created the most amazing couch installation for one of our lounge areas that was the backdrop for one of our favorite pictures. Every guest at our wedding made a comment about the florals being exquisite, and we could not agree more. Misha was then able to repurpose all of the florals from the ceremony space to the reception space as centerpieces for the tables and decoration for the sweetheart table. I will never get over how absolutely perfect the florals were on our wedding day. Misha has a gift, and anyone getting married should 100 percent work with her as their florist.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Millvale, PA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!

I wasn't fully sure what to expect working with Poppy, but I was truly so happy with how everything came together! It's definitely a more hands-off experience, which was great for me, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend to brides that are super particular about their flowers. I had a great experience with my floral consultant Adrienne. She really took my wants and budget into consideration and was extremely helpful in picking out the designs that best matched my vision. On the day-of, I didn't have to worry at all about the floral delivery or setup - they handled it completely with my wedding venue coordinator. This was great and took a lot of stress off my plate. The flowers themselves were STUNNING and so far beyond my expectations. Fantastic price too, especially as our wedding was on an island and involved more logistical challenges than some venues might. :)

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Millvale, PA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets was a wonderful florist to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was prompt, clear, and friendly. They walked us through the process seamlessly and the quality of their work was excellent. The bouquets, boutonnières, garlands with clip on flowers, and centerpieces had an authentic, natural look despite being faux flowers. Pricing is transparent and affordable, making it an easy decision to choose Faux Bouquets. The bright spring colors in the Garden Vibrance collection were beautiful, annd a perfect fit for our late May wedding. The order arrived with ample lead time prior to the wedding day. Additionally, the packaging was excellent, and their return shipment process is very simple and easy to follow. We highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple planning their wedding.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!
