What is your service area? Do you have a delivery fee for flowers?

Accepted Answer

I'm located in Tampa, FL but can ship or deliver flowers all over the US. The shipping fee is included in your package quote and depends on the size of your order and if rush shipping is necessary. All shipments are insured against loss or damage. If you would like me to hand deliver your cake flowers and set them up on your wedding day, that service is available on a limited basis and I'm happy to chat about my availability with you!

How far in advance should we order our sugars flowers?

It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding!! But I definitely recommend having these details figured out before you get in touch: the location/venue of your wedding reception (as well as if it will be indoors or outdoors) and the vendor who is making your wedding cake (a bakery, catering company, or in-house team). I'm currently booking orders about 6 months in advance, but need at least 6-8 weeks of lead time to create your custom design!

Can you provide any decor other than flowers?

No, I only create sugar flowers made from gumpaste. If you are looking for other kinds of cake toppers or need wafer/rice paper flowers, I'm happy to refer you to another artist! Sugar Flowers can also be used as dessert table decor or table centerpieces.

Can you preserve our flowers after the wedding?

Sugar Flowers, even though they're made from sugar, have an extremely long shelf-life if stored and cared for properly. While I do not personally preserve your sugar flowers, I'll provide information and guidance to help you keep and display them as unique mementos from your wedding day.

Do you have a minimum spend for weddings?

We have a $500 minimum for custom floral designs. "A la carte" flowers can be purchased from the website with a minimum order of $150.

Question 6

Can I see a mockup of proposed flowers?

During the design process, I often create sketches to show you how your sugar flowers will look on your cake. This is because my designs are custom and they don't even exist yet! But I love to share similar photos of my past work to help you visualize the design, and I always send design proofs/mockups of your flowers before I ship them to you to get your final approval.

Question 7

Are sugar flowers edible?

Accepted Answer

The short answer is no. Although sugar flowers are made with edible ingredients (egg whites + sugar + emulsifier) they also contain inedible material for stability, such as floral wires, tape, cotton centers, etc. Always remove the sugar flowers before serving the cake.
