The Cypress House is a Federal-style home constructed in 1835. Our property resides on 24 acres, along the bank of the Susquehanna River. In 1987, our family dedicated their hearts and hands to restoring the property to it's original glory. The estate features a stone barn dating back to 1817 and meticulously kept colonial gardens bursting with boxwood, magnolias, and garden roses. We are family owned and operated. Located in the rolling hills in south central Pennsylvania, The Granary at Peach Glen offers a rustic and beautiful scene for any wedding celebrations. Views of the South Mountain Appalachian Ridge and surrounding apple orchards provide the perfect backdrop. Couples can use the many locations on the property to exchange vows including the original barn stone foundation. In 1902, Elmer Thomas and his wife purchased the plot of land right off Peach Glen Road in Gardners, Pennsylvania. Here they settled and built their family home, while farming and harvesting the surrounding land. The Thomas family has continuously worked to restore and bring the property back to life. The Barn was purchased in 2008 and the couple quickly went to work transforming the building which had recently been an art gallery into the premier catering facility that it has become. Located at 737 W Fort McClure Blvd in Bloomsburg, the property provides privacy and seclusion for its guests but is only a few minutes away from hotels and downtown Bloomsburg. The Barn features a huge second story deck that wraps around half the building; it provides a wonderful space for guests during the warmer months.

Mark and Karlen have been restoring the farm for 19 years, one thing has been maintained as much as possible in its original form, the barn. The historic late 1800’s bank barn has many of the original board siding, only to be replaced in-like when needed. It boasts a very large 4 bay layout with the original chestnut flooring. The board siding allows the light to dance off the beautiful wood floors. It is a privilege for Mark and Karlen to invite you into their treasured barn and grounds.
