“My daughter’s wedding was a Birch Hill Catering. I cannot recommend this venue enough. The outdoor ceremony was lovely and required only the most basic of flowers and décor due to the natural beauty of the surroundings. The ballrooms are gorgeous and she chose the one with the stunning atrium glass. It seated 165 people while still leaving plenty of dancing room, DJ booth, and food stations. The cocktail hour was indoor/outdoor on the patio and it was perfect. Now let me talk about our most favorite things. First off, the staff, namely Serena. She is fantastic! She was extremely helpful in working out the details for the event and her communication was top notch through the whole year of planning. On the day of the event, Serena seemed to have eyes and ears everywhere noticing any little detail that needed addressing, taking care of it herself calmly and confidently, and when needed, discreetly asking about a little decision or two for which she needed my input. She also took video and photos during the event. While waiting for the professional photographs for weeks, this was such a nice surprise to receive! Emily was her assistant and very willing and helpful as well. Second, the food. Wow, the food here is just delicious! The choices are abundant and everything was just mouthwatering. It is one of the big reasons we chose this venue and it didn’t disappoint. The carving station and mac n cheese were highlights. They offer so many fun add on’s like late night snack and ice cream stations which since there is not a noise ordinance to worry about, are nice additions to a reception that can go later into the night. Lastly, the fireworks. So, my daughter had her heart set on these and to be honest, my husband and I questioned whether it would be worth it or not. Let me tell you it was worth it, SO worth it. It was a professional show that rivaled that of a lot of professional 4th of July shows! It was spectacular and the photos taken of the bride and groom with huge fireworks going off right above them are awesome! We don't have the pro ones yet but even the cell phone ones are great so we can only imagine. It was an add on we did not regret as our guests were truly in awe. We had many come up to us to share it was a top wedding they had ever attended. Our daughter hugged us at the end of the night thanking us for her fantasy wedding. Thank you to Serena and Birch Hill for making that happen! We will never forget the night.”

“When we started planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted our guests to truly experience the simple beauty of the Hudson Valley. That is what led us to the Abeel House. Our entire day was magical. I walked down the aisle on a little pebble path, surrounded on both sides by wildflowers. Our wedding guests were seated on hay bales in the prairie, the sun on their backs and the stream behind them. After our ceremony, we celebrated in the restored barn behind the historic Dutch stone house. We split the barn into three sections — one to seat our guests for dinner, one for the dance floor, drinks, and dessert tables, and one for the local bluegrass band we hired. As evening came, we turned on the twinkle lights in the barn and danced the night away. You could see the stars through the open windows.”

“Fortune Valley Manor was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning, the team's communication was detailed, fast, and extremely organized. The gorgeous barn and property were exactly what we were looking for to blend our Tamil Brahmin (Hindu) wedding traditions with an Upstate New York barn feel. The wedding planning process was thorough, and Kerri and her team made sure our special day went smoothly, even studying our customs ahead of time. “We had our wedding at Kindred Creeks at the beginning of May 2022. I have so many great things to say about this place! First off, Jill was extraordinary, caring, attentive and so helpful from start to finish. She was able to work within our budget while keeping our dream wedding a reality. She had rain plans, sunny day plans, plans for more or less people and was thorough throughout. Her father, Gerry, who lives in the farm came out the day before and day of the wedding to make sure we were taken care of and that anything we needed would be done. And the tent staff was kind, courteous and officiant! The grounds itself were gorgeous! We were the first to use the airstream bridal suite which got so many compliments and great photos. They also redid the bridge across the creek for the wedding party to walk over during the ceremony. I fell in love with the green barn and even though it needs to come down soon, they held off construction so we could take pictures in front of it. We got married right where the two creeks meet which was so beautiful. All our guest had nothing be great things to say and we are beyond happy with the experience. If you are thinking of taking a tour of the farm, don’t hesitate! You will fall in love just like we did!”
