Hi! Courtney here (that's me on the left!). Shutter and Sound is the brainchild of renowned wedding videographer Ryan Geldermann. Ryan began his wedding videography career in 2010 in Los Angeles and quickly became recognized as one of the top videographers in the U.S.. After relocating to DC and still receiving countless inquiries from all corners of the country, Ryan decided to recruit and train a few talented friends so he could continue offering the quality wedding videography he’s known for in SoCal and eventually over 10 cities. Shutter and Sound is a very small group of filmmakers dedicated to turning your big day into a work of art.

In 2015, my journey into photography kicked off when I bought a camera from a pawn shop without breaking the bank. Discovering the fascination of capturing moments through photos and videos, I swiftly pivoted my career focus towards photography and videography. Now, after 8 years, my lens has traversed the expanse of numerous weddings, countless music videos, and a diverse array of corporate and social media content all across the United States. It's been a journey of storytelling through the art of visuals.

We were so overwhelmed with love and joy the day of our wedding that, if you would have asked during dinner what my maid of honor said on her toast, I couldn't remember a thing. THIS EXPERIENCE CHANGED HOW I DOCUMENT AND DELIVER YOUR VIDEOS. As the lead videographer, I will be there every step of the way, from the initial contact until you receive your wedding videos. Making sure none of those precious moments go unnoticed.

I'm Julia Teplyakova. I'm a FILMMAKER based in Seattle/Eastside. I film different types of videos but the wedding film is one of my favorites. When I meet a new couple, I swear my heart skips a beat every time. New personalities, a new love, a new story! Filming a new couple is like seeing their story play out before my very eyes, and I can’t quite explain the amount of joy it brings.
