Hello my name is Aaron, I'm a wedding filmmaker and photographer based in Tacoma, Washington. I serve couples throughout the Pacific Northwest and wherever your story takes me. I see film as the way memories work. We recall our meaning full moments with emotion and depth. These qualities come naturally with super 8 and film photography.

Less is more—especially when it comes to a wedding film. Your wedding is meant to be lived, not directed. Most of the day, it's simply me and my film camera, quietly following along as moments unfold. By staying present but unobtrusive, I capture your day as it truly felt—honest, intimate, and beautifully your own.

    The Absolute Best

    We hired Aaron at Verite 8 for our wedding photography and videography, and we can’t recommend him enough. It’s only been two months since our wedding, but I still find myself looking through the photos and grinning from ear to ear. Aaron has such a keen eye for what makes a great shot. We got married on our family farm, and he found creative ways to work with the setting and make a place we know so well look even more beautiful. We wanted pictures in the apple orchard, and the contrast with the apples really popped. We also took bridesmaids and groomsmen photos in the shade by the pond, where the light filtering through the trees was tricky. Somehow, Aaron worked his magic—the pictures look like they belong on the cover of Rolling Stone. He also shot several rolls of Super 8 film, which is his specialty and brought such a special feel to our wedding video. We’re so glad we have that footage alongside the photos to remember the day. Throughout the whole process, Aaron was communicative and easy to work with. He sent us sneak peeks of edited photos along the way, which we loved, and promptly delivered the finished photos and video, along with the unedited footage we had requested. We’re so grateful for the care and creativity Aaron put into capturing our wedding. We absolutely loved working with him, and we’ll treasure what he created for us for years to come.

    Amazing work!

    We hired Verite 8 to film our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the decision.
