Welcome! I'm David and I began this wild journey of documenting love stories back in 2017. I'm big on sincere moments, relationships, and how your wedding day felt. I'd love to partner with you and create a film that can preserve what matters most.

There are so many things that can make one wedding film different from another. It could be the equipment, style of music, and what a videographer "thinks" is important on your wedding day. I don't want to think I know what's important to you, I want to REALLY KNOW. I've worked with videographers who spend meticulous amounts of time getting the perfect ring or napkin close up. That's cool, but you'll find me documenting your closest family members and friends interacting with you and each other, because I feel it's your relationships that matter the most.     AMAZING videography! Would absolutely hire again!

    If you're looking for someone to capture one of the most important days of your life, you won't find anyone who will care more or deliver a better experience. If I had to do it all over again, hiring David would be one of the easiest decisions to make. My wife and I hired David and his team to capture our wedding in San Francisco, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, David and his team were warm, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. They went above and beyond to understand our vision, exceeding every expectation we had for our wedding film. What truly sets David apart is that he doesn't just create beautiful videos — he genuinely cares. He cares about the couples he works with, their stories, and his craft. That passion shines through in every frame, and I couldn't be more thankful for all the time, energy and effort he put into the video he captured and created for us.     ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL AND WORTH IT

    Sequoia Sky Films was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding videography. From our very first interaction, David was responsive, considerate, and thoughtful in their communication, ensuring he understood exactly what we wanted to capture on our special day. The video he produced is truly a masterpiece – his attention to detail and ability to craft a film that feels so personal and tailored to us is fantastic. David's calm demeanor made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and he went above and beyond by letting us use his own camcorder to ensure we didn't miss a single moment of our wedding weekend AND he even bought a shirt for our wedding to match with the colorful theme.     100% Recommend!!

    David was the best!! He went above and beyond for our big day. We had a full weekend of events at a kids summer camp and he was there for all of it! He even helped move coolers between shooting the action. He integrated himself into the group during events, and all of our friends loved him! He captured everything we wanted and never felt like he was putting us into any unnatural positions/shots. He was very easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and made coordination a breeze. We did a couple video calls to get to know each other before, and he had very good questions to get a feel for us as people, as a couple, and what we were looking for from a wedding video. We received a sneak peek shortly after the wedding, which brought us both to tears reliving the happy day. He did a great job capturing the moment and feeling of it all! If you are on the fence about getting a videographer or about going with someone else, stop and HIRE DAVID IMMEDIATELY!! You will not regret it!! Out of all of our vendors, David is BY FAR the one we have recommended to everyone we can as he was INCREDIBLE!!!

    Working alongside David during Kaci and Anthony's wedding in the picturesque Yosemite was an absolute pleasure. David's skill as a videographer was evident in his work and his demeanor. Absolutely! While we’re based in San Francisco, we’re available for destination weddings worldwide. If your wedding is over 100 miles outside the Bay Area, we’re happy to come to your city for an additional fee to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.
Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service, so our calendar typically fills up 6-12 months in advance.
Editing is its own art form and influential to the outcome of your film, so I personally handle all editing of every single project. I believe the editing process should be a direct result of our time working together. From our first zoom call all the way to grooving on the dance floor, these experiences directly influence how your story is told.
