About Harrod Media

Harrod Media

Videographer, Owner

As owner of Harrod Media, I have been filming weddings over 7 years and have shot more than 200 weddings to date. I bring a background in film and TV production and a cinematic, classical approach to wedding video production. When I'm not behind the camera or editing, some of my passions include playing music, dance, and exploring the great outdoor experiences the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

I bring a deep level of experience from having shot many weddings that allows me to work quickly, solve problems, and be prepared for every scenario. I am committed to ensuring that on your big day, everything goes right and that all the most important moments are captured. I also strive to not have too much of an impact on your experience, and believe that some of the best wedding videography is candid and goes with the flow. I like to let you be yourself and see what naturally unfolds!

With video, you preserve memories of relatives, family and friends in a dynamic and moving way that photographs alone cannot reproduce. Many couples who don’t get video say this is the main thing they regret not doing for their wedding!
I offer an initial, free 30-minute consult by phone or video. If you decide to proceed we’ll sign a contract and you’ll place a 25% deposit to reserve the date, after which your wedding is locked in. The remaining balance is due usually two weeks before the day-of.
Yes! Payment can be flexible as long as a plan is agreed on in advance. The 25% deposit is required to lock in your date, however after that there are a few options with regard to payment. Typically I am open to monthly installments completed by the wedding date.
Each wedding video package may vary in turnaround time, but generally I aim to complete your teaser video in 2-3 weeks and the rest of your films within 2-3 months.
For the highlight reel, we usually draw 1-2 songs from high-quality royalty-free stock music libraries. We base these choices off the vibe of your wedding, what seems to work with the footage, and to match our aesthetic standards. You are welcome to make requests, or to browse our stock library and share choices. Your social clip is delivered without audio so you can set it to whatever audio you want when uploading!
Yes! My work has taken me around the world, to film TV segments in Colombia, Portugal, France, Austria and Japan. I would love to travel to film a wedding, so I am willing to work with you on a special deal if you want to have your wedding abroad, or in another state, filmed.
I can offer raw footage for a fee, which varies depending on how you want it (straight-from-camera, vs. curated into long sequences or reels). It is not included unless otherwise noted in your package.
Drone footage adds a sense of location, and an epic feeling that captures your wedding venue like nothing else can. Keep in mind that drone flight is subject to weather, interference and occasional flight restrictions. That said, most of the time drone flights are successful!
For weddings in the Seattle or Portland area within 25 miles, no travel fee applies. Beyond that range a travel fee (varies) may apply to cover gas/car expense. Ferries, flights, trains or rentals to access the venue(s) will be billed in full.
On the day of your wedding, Eric, your videographer, may either arrive by himself or with a 2nd (or even 3rd) videographer, according to prior arrangement.
I offer up to one free revision—this could be removing one or two shots for example, or adding something in you were hoping to see. This does not cover a “major” revision, like overhauling a large amount of the the highlight reel.
Definitely! While we’re based in Seattle, WA, we’re available for destination weddings worldwide. We’re happy to come to your city for an additional fee to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.
Absolutely. Reach out anytime to ask about our special pricing for elopements! Please note your elopement must have fewer than 10 total guests.
Yes! We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.
It depends on how heavy the rain is; generally a light sprinkle is fine but anything heavier than that (or hail, thunder, and so on) it may be necessary to either hold off or move the ceremony indoors. The same goes for light snow (this is not a problem for our cameras usually, as long as it's very light).
While we have not offered this service in the past, we would be open to it for a fee discussed in advance.
In general, unless you request it to be private (which you absolutely may do), videos we film are public so that we can show the work that we have made in a portfolio context. We usually will not advertise with anything other than your highlight reel or social clip, however.
For longer weddings, or even shorter ones where getting all the details is necessary, two videographers is an excellent idea. We always involve two videographers for weddings 10 hours and over, but recommend it strongly to be added-on even for 6-8 hour weddings.
