From commercial shoots with Amazon, to the orphanages of Haiti, I’ve seen and done a lot with my career…but the moments that stuck with me were always the ones that had purpose behind what we were capturing. Weddings quickly went from being an occasional gig to the most precious gift I could provide an entire family! Through intentional filmmaking we are able to capture the sights & sounds of those closest to you on your wedding day, and that fills our cups!

My name is Mitchell Gaston, and I love telling stories. I began my filmmaking journey all the way back in middle school (which is further back than I care to admit), making silly videos with my friends. Somewhere along the line I got a chance to film a wedding, and I haven't looked back since. Meeting amazing couples and getting to tell their stories is, and continues to be, a dream come true.

I am an intimate wedding and elopement filmmaker and photographer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’m married to my life-long adventure partner, Josue (Sway for short), and we have a 2-year-old golden doodle, Murphy, who is our whole world. When I’m not creating art, I can be found tending to my enormous plant collection, catching up on the latest episode of This is Us, serving on my church worship team, or hanging at the dog park.
