Their films, made primarily using 16mm & Super 8mm analog film, capture the texture and feeling of a day as it unfolds. Each frame is exposed to light & developed through a chemical process. I’m based in Connecticut and in 2025 I picked up a camcorder and started filming any event I could, including bachelorettes, weddings, and more. I turned them into nostalgic, at-home style videos for friends and family, and what started as a hobby quickly became something I truly love alongside my full-time job. After filming a cousin’s wedding in 2026, the response I received made me stop and think about what this could become. Since then, I’ve been building Rainey Day Films into something more intentional, a wedding videography approach that blends the warmth and authenticity of home videos with the storytelling of wedding films.
