Based in Marion, OH, The Brickyard On Main is a wedding venue that offers a big-city feel on a small town budget. Once home to the likes of Kroger, Bender Liquor Supply, and Spano’s Market, this beautiful building offers historic charm and modern amenities with a splash of elegance. From the second you walk in the door, you fall in love with the exposed rafters, brick walls, original wood floors, and a limestone wall dating back to 1832. From there, you can go through our glass garage door to an incredible enclosed courtyard, complete with string lights, fire feature, and artificial turf. The business actually began back in 1981 with roasting a pig over an open fire in the back yard for a class reunion. Carawood Lake is a unique nature escape and campground located in the heart of Lorain county, featuring a pristine 2-acre lake, a rustic, climate-controlled Lodge with seating for 25-150, a large lakeside lawn perfect for outdoor events, lots of gorgeous little nooks amongst the trees for pictures, and space for your entire party to camp on the grounds overnight following your wedding. Our vibe is rustic, park-like, peaceful, and casual. We are a small, family-owned venue that offers amazing flexibility when planning your wedding. We allow you to use any licensed caterer of your choice, park a food truck right next to our covered patio, or even bring your own food and alcohol. Our Wedding Packages also come with tables, chairs, tablecloths, chair covers, AV equipment, and access to our "Something Borrowed Closet", which is a like our own little library stocked with common centerpiece items, like glass jars, vases, candlesticks, mirrors, and more. Hillcrest Orchards is an ideal location for a ceremony or a reception. The 90-acre orchard features a historic, 2300 sq. ft. barn and two 24 x 32’ pavilions joined by a brick patio area. Built in 1936, the barn was used to sort and package apples up until 1980 and has recently been renovated to accommodate up to 160 guests complete with restrooms.
