About this venue

Tom’s Country Place, established in 1959. Our venue accommodates 80-450 guests. Located in a wooded area on 20 acres of scenic grounds, our beautiful gardens provide a picturesque setting for your wedding ceremony & photos. In 1945 a hard-working farmer, Thomas Hricovec had a vision to cater to families with a welcoming atmosphere. His wife, Mary, stood by him and dedicated her time to help him in their journey. The two worked together along with family & friends to make their dream come true. Using their farmland, the Hricovecs changed their lifestyle from farming food, to serving food as well. They broke ground in 1958 and celebrated their first wedding in the fall of 1959. Thomas & Mary instilled the importance of hard work and dedication in their family. Now, third-generation owner Bill Hricovec, a culinary graduate of Johnson & Wales, along with our team, integrates traditional family recipes with a mix of new and innovative menu selections to offer you a wide variety of choices.

SoundProof Entertainment has done dozens of events at Tom's over the years. The staff is friendly and amazingly helpful. The venue is always clean and at the proper temperature for the time of the year. The food is ALWAYS fantastic. There's a beautiful garden patio outside that is a perfect backdrop for ceremonies. Tom's Country Place has a laid back elegance that makes it the perfect venue for folks looking for a fun but classy wedding and reception.

Yes, we do not have a liquor license to sell alcoholic beverages, so you may provide all of your own alcohol. Packages are available for all of your non-alcoholic beverages; these are in the $2.95-$4.95 per person price range.

Yes, a large parking lot is available at no fee.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. The entire venus is on the ground floor, no stairs or ramps needed. We also have a large ADA accessible restroom.

Set up, clean up, tables, chairs, china, flatware, glassware, and linens. Wait staff, culinary staff, bartenders, security, on-site event coordinator. Catering of the dinner menu.

Your reservation includes a five-hour-long reception. If hosting your ceremony here too, a 30-minute ceremony will be immediately prior to the reception. One additional hour of reception time may be added at $500 per hour.

All deposits are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, your deposit is refundable only under the following criteria: Tom’s Country Place must be able to re-book the exact date as listed on your contract with the same minimum guest requirements and at the same price per guest as listed on the current wedding price list.

Our venue is a 25-minute drive from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. We are easily accessible from I-90 or 1-480. You can reach our venue by private car or taxi.

No, our venue is fully insured. However, wedding insurance is a great option for your peace of mind and can be purchased from most insurance providers.

No. Tom’s Country Place is a catering company, so all events hosted in our venue must be catered by us as well. Our expert chefs are happy to work with you to customize a menu to fit you and your guests' tastes, preferences, and dietary needs.
