Bloom & Bower is located on a private 6 acre country estate in Risingsun, Ohio, conveniently located near Toledo, Bowling Green, and Findlay, Ohio. We offer outdoor ceremonies on our Ceremony Lawn/ Gazebo area, or in our Secret Garden. Guests will enjoy exploring the grounds, sipping a drink by the pond, or playing yard games! Couples spend their wedding night in our onsite Barn B&B, and will enjoy an stress-free wedding day! We offer staffing to handle set-up, tear-down, day-of coordination services, and access to our ample decor supply. Our Reception Barn and covered awning space can accommodate up to 200 guests. I wanted to take the time to brag on Margaret and her staff at bloom and bower. From start to finish , I never once doubted whether I made the right choice in picking a venue. The grounds at Bloom and Bower are absolutely beautiful. A huge perk of booking with B&B is their decor that is included. They have a huge storage room where you can choose items you want for your wedding! I only had to bring in any personalized items I wanted /custom items- which saved me so much money! They even set up everything and tore down! Saved so much time and stress. My bridal party spent the night at the venue the night before the wedding, and my husband and I stayed the night of the wedding. This was so perfect /fun and made for a minimally stressful wedding day , not needing to worry about transportation. Morning after our wedding, we were greeted with breakfast- farm fresh scrambled eggs, sourdough toast, and fresh fruit and orange juice! Sooo good! On top of the perks of the venue, Margaret was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was super timely in responding to emails and never made me feel stupid or an annoyance. It is evident she truly cares about giving her clients the wedding of their dreams. Margaret was super helpful on the day of the wedding coordinating all the little things and relieving some day-of anxiety. Overall, I CANT RECOMMEND BLOOM AND BOWER ENOUGH-BOOK NOW!
Best Venue Ever
If you are looking for a venue that is not only beautiful, but will make all of your dreams come true, look no further. I would give Bloom and Bower a 10 out of 5 if I could. The value of the venue is extraordinary. It was so wonderful getting to sleep on site at the venue since it is a bed and breakfast, we even had our whole bridal party stay on site and had our rehearsal dinner there. It was so great to not have to leave the property all weekend and not worry about forgetting anything because it was all right there. The greatest part of this venue is the owners themselves. Margaret basically acts as a day-of coordinator and goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is exactly how you envisioned. She fixes any problems that arise and if I had a crazy idea her response was always, "let's make it happen." Margaret worked wonderfully with all of our other vendors as well. She called each vendor the week before the wedding to make sure everything was ready to go. She also had so much good advice for life and marriage. The venue also had staff that set everything up and tore everything down, which means our bridal party and family got to enjoy themselves. The staff was so kind and helpful and made everything look exactly like my vision. I didn't even have to hire a florist because Margaret and her staff built all of our centerpieces and ceremony florals from their stock of florals. When you book with Bloom and Bower you also have access to a HUGE (and I mean huge) number of decorations that Margaret has curated, meaning you can spend your money on other aspects of the big day. The communication with the venue was excellent. They always got back to me in a super timely fashion and answered all of my questions (there were a lot of them). The professionalism of Margaret, Thomas and their staff really showed. And all of this didn't break our bank. The gardens are also absolutely gorgeous, as well as the gazebo and inside of the reception barn. I highly, highly recommend getting married here.
5 Stars All Around
Margaret, Tom, and the rest of the Bloom & Bower staff are nothing short of INCREDIBLE. From the original tour of the venue to our wedding day, Margaret and staff were constantly communicating, organizing, and a deeply reassuring presence throughout our entire wedding planning process. Staff made the already beautiful venue even more so with carefully curated decor and setup that looked like something straight off my Pinterest board. Aside from the visible elements of the venue, Margaret and staff handled all the behind-the-scenes stuff on the day of the wedding. At one point during our wedding, I was stressing about the timeline of the day, and Margaret told me to “shut my brain off” and that she would handle it - and she did. This testament accurately captures what it means to get married at Bloom & Bower. The professionals at this venue made our day perfect - if there were any hiccups, we didn’t know about them. Bloom & Bower is not just a physical place to get married. The experience provided by the venue and staff made for an incredible wedding planning experience and wedding day; it absolutely worth every penny. I cannot recommend this venue enough. To put it simply, choose Bloom & Bower for your wedding - you will not regret it.
Wedding Reception
We chose Bloom & Bower for our wedding reception and it was the best decision we could have ever made (aside from marrying each other, of course). The venue itself was beautiful and was decorated to match our ideas and beyond. We were able to make use of the indoor and outdoor spaces during the reception. The property is gorgeous and there is plenty of space for picture opportunities and for guests to walk around or play yard games. My bridesmaids and I used the bed and breakfast the night before and got ready there in the morning. It was perfect and made for great getting ready photos. Plus the decorations are so cute inside. The Bloom & Bower staff exceeded all our our expectations and were ready to help with anything and everything. They were also beyond kind. In preparation from the reception, we were able to meet with the owner multiple times to tour the venue and for two planning meetings to make sure she understood exactly what we were hoping for. The owner, Margaret, is the most kind and genuine person. She was so supportive of all of our ideas and was there to make sure our day went smoothly. I will recommend this place to everyone! I couldn't imagine having our special day anywhere else.
