About this venue

The Oaks Lakeside is a turn-of-the-century Estate with a backdrop of the gorgeous Chippewa Lake. Our waterfront venue offers Restaurant and Event Facilities to couples seeking a unique, one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Couples can welcome up to 200 guests to their Celebration. The circular waterfront Pagoda hosts romantic ceremonies with the lake as the backdrop. Our private Event Facility has two floors, windows along the back of the room that overlooks the lake, and lush gardens along with a covered terrace that serves as the perfect location for your cocktail hour and mingling. Our Estate can host other events for couples, such as Bridal Showers, Rehearsal Dinners, and Birthday Parties.

Personal and attentive to detail. Easy to work with, had a lot of dietary restrictions to work within and they were more than accommodating. Communication was responsive. The setting itself was beautiful and peaceful for a Sunday morning brunch, which everyone enjoyed. Very grateful for how easy they made the event to plan.

Yes, we have facilities that are wheelchair accessible in our banquet room and a ramp into the building.

Set up, clean up, tables, chairs, china, flatware, glassware, house linens (ivory), day of event liaison, white padded ceremony chairs (plus setup & teardown), ceremony site, 2-hour separate day rehearsal, 2-hour separate day outdoor photoshoot. bridal suite.

Your reservation includes twelve hours from start to finish, including the time it takes for your decorating, and teardown (if setting up the day of your event). This can be extended for an extra $250/ hour, but cannot exceed midnight.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. However, we do allow you to move your event to an open date in the future, moving all payments made to your new date.
