About this venue
Rustic elegance barn wedding and event venue on gorgeous wooded, undulating land in Northeast Ohio. With over 550 acres of beautiful the Barn at Hart's Grove boasts incredibly beautiful aspects. We can develop the plan and activities to make your event perfect for your needs.

A rustic elegant barn -- stunning without decorations.
Our main barn is a black & white colonial themed barn. It is trimmed inside with pine and completed with stained concrete floors, chandeliers, and beautiful lighting. A lovely covered porch off the back provides a nice 'transition' space after the ceremony. The patio at the side of the building provides a great outdoor entertaining space with bistro lighting and a fire pit to add to the ambience. The result is an elegant space where your decorations can be customized to make your dream wedding.

The Chapel
All the beauty of the outdoors, but with options for inclement weather.
Our chapel is open on two sides, providing stunning scenic views of pasture, woods, a beautiful lake and log cabin. You get the outdoor wedding of your dreams, but with a roof over your head if the weather is not cooperating. If the weather is really difficult, we have three season enclosures for the sides of the facility that are clear. So without losing the view, you can be sure of a rainy day solution.

The large bunkroom is great for younger guests and has a large TV for movie nights and entertaining. The stone patio, trimmed with bistro lights, has a wonderful sunset view of the fields and woods.

Beautiful venue. Great staff.
As a wedding DJ with years of experience at venues all across Northeast Ohio, I can confidently say that The Barn at Hart’s Grove is one of the most seamless, well-run, and visually stunning venues you can book for your wedding. The barn’s layout is incredibly DJ-friendly. The reception area has a great flow, with plenty of room for guests to move between dinner, the bar, and the dance floor without ever feeling tight or congested. The dance floor sits in an ideal spot, making it easy to create energy and keep the crowd engaged all night. The team at Hart’s Grove is absolutely top-notch. They’re organized, communicative, and truly invested in making each event run smoothly. As a DJ, having a staff that coordinates timelines, communicates changes, and keeps everything running on schedule is invaluable—and this team nails it every time. Between the rustic charm of the barn and the beautiful outdoor ceremony sites, this venue delivers an amazing backdrop for both the celebration and your photos. When guests walk into the reception, they’re already in a great mood—the atmosphere does half the work before the music ever starts.

The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff were so lovely as well from beginning to end. Jen and Stacie had the same level of care for my special day as I feel like they would for themselves. They truly wanted everything to be perfect for us. If you’re looking for a very unique venue that offers MULTIPLE accommodations on site for many guests (we were able to accommodate our whole wedding party, immediate family and more people on top of that), this is your venue. Everything was also very clean (and this is coming from someone who gets grossed out at hotels easily). They have multiple houses on site and let you book the venue/housing for a whole weekend which makes for a very relaxing set up and tear down - you can setup Friday morning and leave tear down for Sunday which leaves for a stress-free weekend to spend with friends and family. I don’t think I’ve heard of another venue that offers this which makes this one what I think is a unique venue. Additionally, there is enough space that even when we had some trying weather I was not worried as the whole space can be ready for any type of weather with the overhangs and removable doors on the ceremony hall. Additionally The one house has space for your rehearsal dinner and can accommodate a decent amount of people which saved us money since we only just had to cater food then. If you have a smaller family or don’t want it for the whole weekend they have options for that as well. This venue is also very accommodating to different vendors and does not force you to pick from a small list of vendors that may be out of budget or not what your looking for. Their wedding model set everything up very nicely for an awesome stress-free weekend and took what could be a night celebration and made it a weekend celebration with friends and family. I can’t recommend this venue enough.
