Alpenglow Gardens
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $700
  • Serves Lone Pine, CA

I’m Jacky Surber, owner and farmer-florist. I’m a homesteader at heart and I find immense joy in trying to live and work in harmony with nature. At Alpenglow Gardens we are passionate about providing locally grown flowers that are both gorgeous and sustainable, from seed to bouquet. We are committed to non-toxic farming and environmentally-friendly design practices that generate less waste and have a lighter carbon footprint. Our home and farm is taking root on land that has been home to the Paiute and Shoshone people since time immemorial. Payahuunadü means "land of the flowing water" and we are doing our best to respect the land.

“Jacky and Alpenglow Gardens were such a pleasure to work with for our June wedding at Convict Lake. We were so grateful for her time and artistry in creating a floral scene that was even more beautiful than we could’ve imagined. We wanted the day to feel wild, romantic, humble, and enchanting, and it really did. We also wanted to reuse flowers between two days of events, and Jacky found a way to do so that didn’t compromise any of the arrangements and also fit within our budget. She was so easy to work with - creative, professional, and personable. She listened to what we wanted and also guided us with her expertise in a direction that worked with the setting, season, and practicality of flowers. We received so many compliments on the floral arrangements. Would highly recommend Jacky and Alpenglow Gardens!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (102 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Lone Pine, CA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We loved using Flower Moxie! Morgan Wilt helped us put together the perfect cart, they all arrived when they said they would, and the flowers were near perfect. It is time consuming if you're a perfectionist (my bridal party and I spent about 6 hours arranging all of our bouquets, centerpieces, aisle pieces, arch pieces etc.) so don't underestimate the amount of time needed! But overall such a lovely experience and we would recommend it to anyone interested in doing their own florals.”

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
  • Serves Lone Pine, CA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
“I had the absolute best experience with The Faux Bouquets. The flowers were absolutely stunning for my wedding. The owner, Brittany, was so kind and even called me to make sure my wedding wouldn't be affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, my area was not affected, but I just really felt that was a special kindness that needs to be called out. But again, the quality of the bouquets, micro sprays and greenery was so great and photographed so well! And all at a fraction of the cost of real flowers that would have just been thrown away at the end of the night! The delivery and return process couldn't have been simpler! And I loved my husband and I got to customize and keep my bouquet and his boutonniere during a promotional add-on! Thank you again, Brittany and The Faux Bouquets, for helping make our wedding so beautiful!”

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

They were amazing at their communication leading up to the event and delivered the bouquets promptly according to our schedule the day of the event. Their punctuality gave our models enough time to rehearse the runway with their florals. Aside from their great professionalism, Zombie Flowers is a super creative company. The Dainty Daydream
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Lone Pine, CA

Hi Im Emily :) A wedding Planner turned Florist. I have a love for all things pretty including event design and florals. I love designing anything from organic to refined flowers. Which means any design ideas you bring to me will be a fun challenge i'm up for.

“Working with Emily at The Dainty Daydream was so easy. I had ideas of an abundance of citrus fruits in baskets and cut open on the tables to accompany the flowers and add a fun, summer vibe - and she delivered exactly what I wanted. When we mentioned wanting orange trees by the altar, she didn't say no when she found out orange trees were not in season in summer. Instead, she got creative. Emily sourced the citrus trees and tied oranges to the leaves with clear string so they looked like they were in bloom. It was so beautiful and very creative. I also had concerns right before our wedding that our contracted arrangements might feel small for what I was picturing, but Emily stepped up and sourced fluffy florals that made everything look lush, vibrant, and exactly the size we needed. She has a real talent for solving problems and delivering arrangements that feel abundant without being over the top. Emily's work was beautiful and her willingness to find solutions instead of roadblocks made the whole process smooth. We'd absolutely recommend her to any couple looking for a florist who actually listens and delivers.”

I discovered a deep and lasting love for flowers years ago in stark contrast to the fishing which occupied my summers growing up in Alaska. While I sought out the call of the wild in the summer; fishing, wildland firefighting, and flying...I returned like a salmon upriver, to the draw of the shop where dahlias, roses, gardenias, and peonies would seduce, comfort, and restore with their graceful beauty and perfumed petals. Those elemental professions of earth, water, fire, and sky which filled me with such excitement and adventure nurtured a love for helping others celebrate new chapters in their life with a love story of floral creations.
