“If you're looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond, Mike is your guy. From start to finish, he was the definition of professional. Responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. Communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process. Mike made sure to walk through the venue with us ahead of time so that every logistical detail was locked in well before the big day. He handled all the traditional wedding DJ responsibilities flawlessly, but he also embraced our more unique requests without hesitation. We asked him to play video game lo-fi music during cocktail hour and dinner, and he absolutely nailed it. We're also huge fans of metal and rock, and we were initially worried that might not translate well to a wedding dance floor. He was able to mix those songs in live and keep the energy high all night. It turned out to be one of our favorite parts of the reception, and honestly something we weren't sure we'd get to experience. On top of everything else, our guests couldn't stop complimenting his work. He kept the floor packed and the vibe exactly right from beginning to end. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out, and we recommend Mike without reservation.”

“It was an amazing experience working with the three amazing people we were assigned for our wedding. We booked a photographer, videographer, and DJ through this company and I don’t think I could have asked for much more than what they did for us! Finding vendors for these three jobs was very important to me as a bride because I wanted to make sure it was going to be a stress free and memorable day. I wanted to make sure everything was captured and that friends and family would have the best time possible celebrating with us. To start with our photographer Sean, he is such an amazing individual and was such a light hearted and fun energy to have. He got along with everybody and was so patient with our youngest and oldest family members. The photos we received were amazing and captured so many great moments without feeling posed. Our videographer Jason captured such great moments for us and cracked so many jokes throughout the day. Our video is absolutely amazing and was pretty close to what I had imagined before receiving it. When your videographer willingly whips out a kart wheel to show off to a group of dancers, you know he’s passionate about his job. Lastly our DJ John was the perfect DJ for our party! He was so attentive and absolutely hilarious. An amazing MC and worked with me to create several surprises throughout the night. As a dancer and perfectionist, I could not have asked for someone to have read the room any better! I never had to ask for songs to be skipped and my guests felt so comfortable to approach him with requests. I don’t know if we could ever put into words how well they worked together. Everyone that we dealt with through this company made our experience so easy to manage.”

However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“Where do we even start! From the very first email, Colin was such a calming and supportive presence throughout the whole wedding planning process. Anytime I had a question or worry (which I had a few), he was right there with reassurance and quick answers - even when I’d email him late at night, he somehow would respond within minutes! That kind of responsiveness and care meant so much to us, especially in the week leading up to the wedding with things get hectic. He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). It kept guests entertained all night long and added such a fun, interactive element to our reception. What really stood out though, was how Colin and his wife (who was his wonderful assistant that day) made everything so personal. They were professional yet warm, blending right into the crowd and truly feeling like family celebrating alongside us. Colin kept the energy flowing, a smooth timeline, and the dance floor full all night long. Looking back, we can’t imagine our day without Sound Love. Colin helped make everything easy, stress-free, and so much fun. “We went thru a process of interviewing different djs in the early stages of wedding planning. We interviewed two prior to Joe and after meeting Joe we canceled the next two. We knew he was going to be the best choice without even looking at the other two. He has top of the line professionalism, punctuality and downright talent behind the decks. He was very detail oriented and exceeded our needs in every way. His stage was awesome, lights were perfect, nailed his announcements and the Photo Booth option completed the night. “Bill and John did a wonderful job for mine and my Husbands special day. From the very first phone call, Bill was very informative and reassuring that they would get the job done to fit our vision. They even came to the rehearsal (small extra cost) to make sure all music cues were exactly how I wanted them which was great as many DJs had told me “no.” It really helped ease my nerves knowing things were well executed and ran through the day before. Throughout the planning process, Bill was very responsive to any questions I had via email or extra phone calls. I did have a change I added in last minute so our dog could be apart of reception announcements and they didn’t even flinch at the last minute change of plans. They nailed it. They played great songs, surprised us with a gift after our first dance, and even kept bringing my girls and I fans cause they had us dancing all night. We cannot thank both Bill and John enough for helping us execute our big day! -The O’Havers”
