My friend had him at her wedding a few years prior and highly recommended him, and I’m so glad we took her suggestion! Ed has a great DJ website where you can add all the songs you like, as well as which songs you don’t want to hear (which is very important for me). He then creates amazing mixes with the songs and knows how to keep the party going. I was really happy he was able to find our first dance song, which is from the 1940s and not easy to stream from just anywhere (thank you!!!). Our dance floor felt tailored to us, and the lights were so fun. He also did our introductions and gave the guests instructions when needed. If you’re on the fence about getting a DJ, book Edward Zaruba—he made our reception FUN!”

We thought we were doomed, though, because we're terrible at selecting exact songs and had no sense of how the music fit into the overall schedule of the night. We hadn't thought past our ceremony! Julian kept things positive, steered us when we had no idea what to do, but gave us space to put our stamp on our evening when he could sense we had ideas burbling. He was helpful, positive and always prompt without ever being pushy, and so many of our favorite moments came out of the things he got us to think about. Rashaun was awesome too. His demeanor is super low-key and easy going, and he was very easy to work with, which means a lot in this field. Weddings have lots of moving parts and can be chaotic, but having vendors that are kind and willing to work as a team makes the day go a whole lot smoother. The couple had lots of requests for songs in completely different genres, but he managed to keep the party going with no awkward pauses and seamless transitions. I highly recommend hiring him if you want someone that's going to work well with everyone and make sure to light the dance floor on fire!”

He took last minute changes and made it absolutely perfect. He made sure that all request were made and that everyone was happy and having fun.
