However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

The week before the wedding, I was able to speak directly with DJ Big George and our photographer JP to finalize all the details. DJ Big George was fabulous - he kept the music flowing smoothly and read the crowd perfectly, even though I didn't provide a detailed playlist. JP the photographer was fantastic! Had a great personality and always there to capture the important moments, like when my dress broke right before the ceremony and he offered tools to help the girls fix it! He spent extra time making sure we were posed well and I cannot wait to see the photos! Eclectic Events truly made our special day even more memorable. We had a fantastic time dancing all night thanks to their incredible service.”

“Julian at Limelight and DJ Rashaun were absolutely perfect for us. We knew the vibe we wanted — and, frankly, it was a little off the beaten path since we wanted a bit of a 1930s feeling. We thought we were doomed, though, because we're terrible at selecting exact songs and had no sense of how the music fit into the overall schedule of the night. We hadn't thought past our ceremony! Julian kept things positive, steered us when we had no idea what to do, but gave us space to put our stamp on our evening when he could sense we had ideas burbling. He was helpful, positive and always prompt without ever being pushy, and so many of our favorite moments came out of the things he got us to think about. Rashaun was awesome too. He took our weird list of preferred songs and turned it into an amazing night of love, dining, and dancing. It felt like he'd known for years, always hitting the right classic hit, the right remix, the right memory moments. He was such a kind and lovely man too. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!”

Kelton has a great system for figuring out your taste, priorities, and run of show. He set up very quickly at our venue, which was key given we were running on a tight schedule, and he managed to produce nice sound in a very cavernous space (no idea how!). He kept us running on time and made all transitions seamless. His music perfectly matched the vibe we wanted, starting with a relaxed cocktail hour and dinner, and gradually increasing the tempo into a full-scale dance party as the night went on. And our friends and family had an absolute blast! He had everyone from 20 somethings to family in their 60s and 70s dancing until the very end! We got so many positive messages the next day, including one person who described our DJ as being "on fleek."”
