“The venue is beautiful don’t get me wrong, I docked one star because of a few factors. The bridal suite needs a major remodel. They have furniture in there that has horses sculpted on it, there’s a room with a bed that has the most basic bedding like you walked into someone’s room, and the blinds were broken, no curtains so I felt like as people walked up and down the stairs to the upstairs of the barn they could see in. The lighting for makeup was not the best, as the bride I had to sit in a chair in front of the sink where there’s a window for lighting. There’s only 2 little round mirrors and one full body mirror to use so I’m happy that I brought extra mirrors. Also, I was super frustrated that they allowed tours on our wedding day. I was told when I was looking at the venue that we could only come on days there weren’t events booked, but they allowed people to walk around while I had all of our decor out as well as wedding gifts that had been dropped off early. One of the groups actually had a man look into the bridal suite while we were all in there getting ready which made us all super uncomfortable. I mentioned this to on-site staff and they just replied with “I apologize we did have details and tours today.” The food from the venue was delicious, I was nervous about it being warm enough once everybody got served but it seemed to stay hot for everyone. We didn’t get a chance to try our appetizers, once the bridal party was able to eat them they were cold. Overall, I would still recommend this venue, it was beautiful outside and the staff were all friendly. I felt like I had to reach out to them to get any information or updates, they were quick to reply, but I had to be the first to reach out. Finally, I wish they would put some money into making the bridal suite more bridal.”
