Since 1994, the Whitlock Inn has become the recommended venue for social events such as weddings, receptions, dinner parties, and corporate entertaining. In May of 2020 Jim and Kathy Heilman purchased the Inn. As the proud new owners of one of Marietta’s greatest treasures, the Heilman family looks forward to preserving the integrity of the Whitlock Inn while hosting your most memorable events.

Timbers at the Mill is an absolutely beautiful and historic wedding venue located in Canton, Georgia. We are in the highly sought-after development of The Mill on Etowah. The Mill is a 100-year-old cotton mill that was recently revitalized with a focus on keeping the feel and history of the original buildings. We specialize in event planning and photography services so we knew one day we had to create a space for other people to come in and host their events + photoshoots. We love meeting and celebrating you all who come our way and can't wait to see what you create in our space. Our goal is to make the process of hosting your event as easy as possible so you don't have to stress the small things. We take care of table, chair and linen set up and tear down so all you have to do is light cleaning before you leave! We are also one of the few venues in the area that have no catering requirements and we offer BYOB for beverages. Hosting your event with us is easy, we offer self check in to the venue so you have the space to yourself.
