Terminal West lies within the King Plow Arts Center in West Midtown Atlanta. The arts center originally started out as a plow factory but was converted into studios in the 1990’s. Terminal West once was an iron smelting room and has been transformed into a music venue with modern production while maintaining the original factory aesthetics. Terminal West opened its doors in March of 2012 and is now a concert venue/event space.

Our venue was originally built in 1942, and used as munitions storage during World War 2. After that, it was repurposed for different industrial uses until the 1990s, when we moved in and set up our antique shop. Thirty years later, the area has changed incredibly and we no longer work in antiques!

The Electric Room at Star Metals offers upscale features, social and collaborative spaces, state-of-the-art finishes, panoramic views, an indoor/outdoor bar, and a cohesive design sensibility that will transform your next event. The venue is located in the center of West Midtown along the Howell Mill Road corridor, with a vibrant mix of dining, shopping, and cultural and entertainment venues.
