“Kaitlin is amazing to work with. As a photographer who has done weddings myself, I had high standards and specific requests that weeded out a lot of people during my search. Kaitlin immediately stood out to me as someone with the ability to capture the essence of a couple. As I browsed her galleries I felt like I knew the couples and their stories by the time I was done. My wife and I are very introverted, shy, and not used to being the center of attention — let alone in front of a camera. After consulting with Kaitlin it was even more clear that she was the perfect photographer for us. Kaitlin listened to our requests, asked us questions to get a better understanding of what sort of coverage we’d like, and checked in multiple times leading up to the wedding day to go over plans. On the day of, Kaitlin was incredible. She set her flash units up perfectly to give a beautiful sense of lighting to our indoor pictures. Kaitlin was quick and professional with our family formals without feeling like she was rushing anyone. We love our newlywed portraits, largely due to how natural it felt to work with her—again this was huge for us as two people who are a bit camera shy. Our reception photos are equally beautiful, she captured meaningful candid moments without feeling like she was standing between us and the moments happening around us. If you’re like my wife and me and aren’t used to being on camera, I would 100% recommend booking a practice session with Kaitlin either for engagement photos or couples’ photos. As a photographer I’m used to being behind the camera and not in front of it. She helped us feel comfortable and it also helped her see how we interact together as a couple. At no point did we feel like Kaitlin was commandeering our schedule to check off boxes on a shot-list. She was seamlessly integrated everything. Genuinely, I cannot recommend Kaitlin enough. Working with her is like having a best friend there take your wedding photos.”

“Jess was incredible! As a resident of the Pacific Northwest attempting to plan a wedding in Massachusetts, I didn’t have any idea where to start when it came to finding a photographer. I found her via Zola, which led to her website and instagram. I knew she was the perfect person from her first email response to me. Her email showed that she had read the answers that I had written into her inquiry form on her website and I felt seen, heard and understood. We jumped on a call the next week and immediately knew she was the perfect fit for us. Leading up to the wedding we had one more video call and then had the opportunity to meet in person a few days before the wedding, which I appreciate she took time to do. The day of the wedding, Jess captured our day beautifully while giving us direction on how to pose, how long to kiss etc., and we certainly needed direction and instructions for all of that. She took amazing photos of the ceremony and I didn’t even realize she was there, running around capturing so many moments and memories. We got our preview photos the day she promised and they blew my mind. They were so INCREDIBLE. I cannot say enough good things about Jess. She was the perfect person to capture our perfect day and if I needed to hire a photographer on the East Coast, I would 100% hire Jess, I’d even fly her out to the PNW!
