“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“I would highly recommend this band! It was so easy to work with them, so many different options to choose from and flexibility with what we could have in a band, and the people we worked with throughout are so personable! We worked with David during our wedding planning, and he was amazing! He was patient, kind, creative, and very experienced! He was very responsive, and him and the band was able to accommodate our last minute additions/changes! On the day of, the band was truly amazing! We gave minimal instructions but once we arrived, the band & MC were already set up and playing. They were professional, and knew exactly what to do & integrated well with our other vendors! The MC (who was also one of the singers) was also perfect and was able to transition different parts of our day seamlessly, and was clearly experienced with these events. “Hired Joel for our wedding, and out of the 6 weddings we've been to in the past several years (including our own) he was hands down the best DJ/MC. Very happy with our decision to go with him. Joel worked with us to ensure timelines were correct, asked us questions we hadn't thought of yet, and helped curate and go through our personal playlists to get the best playlist we could. At one point in the night he got out on the dancefloor with us with the mic, going around letting us all sing parts of "Don't Stop Believin'" together and we had an absolute blast. If you listened closely he was even singing along to other songs at points in the night. You could tell he was having a good time too. We had several people ask who our DJ was so they could consider booking him too. Worth noting that he can only help you achieve your dream reception if you do your part by filling out your forms thoroughly/properly which he sent reminders to help us do, and enjoying your time at the party. He has a lot of recommendations and helpful advice. Great MC, DJ, and a super cool guy. Amazing vibe and would highly recommend you check him out for your events and wedding!”
