My name is Shannon. I have been doing photography since the beginning of 2021, and I LOVE it. It is a true hobby for me. I recently moved back to the New Orleans area, so I am always looking for new clients to work with and to capture their fabulous lives.I do lifestyle photography, meaning I do your daily photography. Families, couples, engagements, even weddings. I don't do fashion photography, or editorial photography, I believe that the best photos are the ones unplanned and my favorites tend to be the bloopers!

My passion for photography and videography started when I was working in the ministry many years ago. When you work at a church you are often required to wear many hats. One of my hats was filming video announcements and making camp videos for youth and children's church. Over the years my talent grew, my skillset became stronger and I soon felt confident enough to start my own business.

My dream for Nola Darlings Photography is to create a safe and inclusive space for all people. No matter who you love, how you love, or what you look like you deserve to have amazing photos. The vibe might seem very relaxed but I’ve been behind the camera (professionally) for over 10 years and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography.
