Alicia is a Los Angeles-based photographer and the founder of Return to Eden Photography, established in 2011. Before launching her photography business, she spent many years working in the fashion industry, an experience that shaped her refined eye for detail, styling, and editing. Today, that background blends seamlessly with her creative process, allowing her to craft images that are both artful and authentic. Alicia works with both natural and creative lighting to bring out the mood, emotion, and beauty in every scene.

The name Return to Eden was inspired by a meditation passed down from her grandfather, a vision of healing, stillness, and reconnection with the natural world. That spirit continues to guide her work: creating timeless images that feel honest, rooted, and full of life.

Definitely! I have over 20 years of professional photo editing experience, which helps significantly speed up my processing time. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I tune each image with a film-like look, customizing what will look best for each wedding based on a variety of factors. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal, light skin softening and teeth whitening at no additional charge.

Yes! Each of my packages includes a video highlights reel for social media sharing and longer video upgrades are available.

My editing workflow is pretty refined so they are usually ready within about 2 weeks after your wedding (sooner whenever possible!). Film development/scanning and video editing usually takes longer (2-4 weeks for film, 4-12 weeks for video).

The number of finished photos varies by the event and the number of hours included. Each package has an average listed.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

I have worked with a 2nd shooter and assistant in the past, and usually found it unnecessary. If I need help with something for any reason, I will of course bring an assistant at no extra cost to you but it's usually not needed. Over the years, I've found that it's actually so much easier for me to capture everything myself instead of relying on anyone else and potentially ending up with a bunch of redundant/unusable photos. Plus, I've almost been tripped by other photographers in the past and enjoy maintaining my personal space. :)
