I remember looking back at my parents’ wedding album—seeing them young and in love, my grandparents there, everyone in celebration over two families coming together. I felt nostalgic, wishing I could be with them and, in a way, feeling like I could be. Some of the photographs were taken in the house I live in now; I attend the church where they were married. The images allow me to relive their day with them. It brings the earliest part of their relationship to life and reminds me of why I do what I do in the first place.

I love to have a camera in my hands and I think it shows in my work. I love everything about my city and picking this profession I get to be engulfed in it every weekend.
