We cater to low-stress, common sense, and reasonably priced weddings by having everything pre-decorated for you, you just need to provide your colors and personal items. We take care of set up and take down, provide all tables, chairs, linens, and we even offer a variety of misc. wedding items that you may borrow. The Shepard Place is a rustic wedding venue located in Casstown, OH. This historic venue was built in 1920 and was run by the Shepard family for 90 years. The place acted as both the family’s trade and residence, and throughout the years, they created a wonderful site rich in memories and traditions.

Our barn is over 100 years old and we added on a new barn onto it. Together they can seat up to 200 people for a wedding reception. We have added beautiful bistro lighting so not a lot of additional decorating is needed. You have your choice of 4 different outdoor ceremony sites. A grain bin gazebo on a stamped cement pad with bistro lighting is available to be used as a ceremony site or the setting for cocktail hour / outdoor bar. The bridal party has the admissions barn to use for wedding prep and the room on the back of our new restroom building is where the groomsmen can get ready in.
