Montgomery Creek Ranch is home to Boondocks Event Barn & Lodge. Our 160-acre ranch is the perfect event venue to host your private wedding oasis. Hold your ceremony on the meadow with wildflowers as your backdrop or in front of the stone fireplace in the event barn. Create a wedding weekend with family and close friends by staying at The Lodge. The love of beauty in the outdoors and the values it instills in the family led Denise Peacock to share this property with others to make cherished special occasions with their own family and friends. We are thrilled to share the beautiful Venue with you. Denise, her husband Joe, and their family welcome you and your family to Montgomery Creek Ranch.

    Not as Expected…

    Beautiful venue, unfortunately the owner of the venue is extremely unprofessional. The whole experience was horrendous. Changing things without notice or missing details/items, even though it was agreed upon. Restrooms are absolutely horrible. No warning about the millions of bugs. And so on and so on. Denise, also the owner of Montgomery Creek Ranch LLC, doesn’t take any responsibility for her actions and puts it on everyone else. Of course, for PR purposes she’ll leave a “sincere apology” reply to negative reviews for the public to see, but her replies where the public can’t see are belittling, blame shifting, and unprofessional.

Yes, you can choose either a indoor or outdoor ceremony. Some couples like to find the ideal romantic spot in our woods for an small private ceremony. We can certainly give you suggestions if you like.
The Classic Wedding allows for 13-hour access (10 am - 11:30 pm) to The Event Barn and the Getting Ready Suites the day of your event. The Farm Wedding allows for 2-day (36-hour) access to The Event Barn and the Getting Ready Suites. The Micro Wedding allows for 6-hour access (10 am - 5 pm or 1 pm - 7 pm) to The Event Barn and the Getting Ready Suites the day of your event.
In the Spring, Summer, and Autumn, The Event Barn has a capacity of 250 guests. In the Winter, The Event Barn has a capacity of 200 guests. Your Bridal Coordinator will work with you on the venue layout and your preferred arrangement of the tables.
Yes! The venue is heated. Although, we do not keep the systems on for tours.
We require a thirty three percent (33%) deposit. Your date reservation deposit is nonrefundable. Date reservation deposit must be received within 48 hours to secure date. We provide to you at no cost, ACH bank account debit. We do accept cash and checks. Fifty percent (50%) of the balance of the venue must be paid 6 month before your event date. Payments can be made monthly or quarterly. Your final payment on the venue will be due 60 days before your event date.
Once you tour our venue, you may request a 24 hour courtesy hold on the date you selected. You must notify us within 24 hours if you would like to proceed with a contract/deposit for the date(s) selected. Date(s) are not considered confirmed until the initial 33% deposit is received. If you do not contact us, we place the date(s) back on the calendar as available.
Yes, we require a minimum of $300,000 liability coverage, and require a copy of your certificate of insurance 45 days prior to your event. We can assist on how to obtain a policy if needed. We also require a $500.00 refundable damage deposit due 45 days before your event.
Yes, a Day-Of-Coordinator is included in your wedding experience. For the Classic and Farm wedding packages, your Day-Of-Coordinator will start working with you 4 months in advance to confirm vendors, develop a detailed schedule for your day, and a floor plan for your reception and ceremony. Our role includes assisting with rehearsal, day-of vendor coordination, keeping the ceremony & reception on schedule, and most importantly sticking to your vision.
Yes! Our company provides equality of services and care to everyone, regardless of people’s age, disability, gender, gender identity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.
No, we do not. Please ask your officiant or DJ to provide those items. We do have outside power around the barn and can run electrical to outdoor ceremonies.
Yes, for an additional price we have a décor room with a variety of pieces available for our couples to use.
